@mrafsyam
come to think of it, yep
iam an idiot :😃
btw, is there any sample application for gwt that is more just than the current sample with that simple rpc call?
trying to learn gwt but that one is quite basic...I want to see some implementation of composite widgets and how one turn a page into another
i currently use RootPanel.get().add() and .clear() ...not sure how it is done elsewhere
Drew Spencer
@slugmandrew
I'd recommend the MVP tutorials
Personally I use GWTP... really good framework but steep learning curve
Nathan Dunn
@nathandunn
also, if you can use REST (with RESTY GWT) instead of RPC, I think its a better, but that is my two cents

@sjardine
Its impossible to debug using glitter....please fork the gwtboostrap3-seed project and modify to show the problem.

@slugmandrew
Anyone here at GWT con?
dharezlak
@dharezlak
Hello, is it possible to update the content of a Popover widget? I would like to use it as a progress monitor. Invoking setContent does not seem to take effect.
Drew Spencer
@slugmandrew
@dharezlak not sure... there's an init() method. Have you tried calling that after the update?
dharezlak
@dharezlak
thanks, I managed to make it working by directly modifying the contents of the popover with jquery selectors; my updates to the contents are quite often so I can't reinitialize the popover because a flickering effect kicks in

Any cross browser Clipboard copy implementation using GWT?
Drew Spencer
@slugmandrew
@dhinakarreddy best to ask in gwtproject/gwt, no?
James Nelson
@JamesXNelson
He already did. We referred him to https://caniuse.com/#search=clipboard with a recommendation to just use elemental 2 or jsinterop to get native support.
Drew Spencer
@slugmandrew
ah sorry, haven't caught up
James Nelson
@JamesXNelson
no worries ^_^
Dhinakar Reddy
@dhinakarreddy
Thanks. Got it working.
I came across a thread that gwtbootstrap3 widgets is heavier. So, we can wrap the bootstrap divs in html panel. But in that case how to give the handlers in the java code?
Drew Spencer
@slugmandrew
Not quite sure what you're asking but gwtbootstrap3 is much lighter that GWT-Bootstrap, and isn't a HTMLPanel just a <div> anyways?
Dhinakar Reddy
@dhinakarreddy
We can write the bootstrap code in the GWTBootstrap3 but how to give the ui handlers for them like we give for the widgets?
Dhinakar Reddy
@dhinakarreddy
How to add a button to the Popover ?
Dhinakar Reddy
@dhinakarreddy
Is there any possibility like this one?http://bootstrap-confirmation.js.org/

Does someone know whether there is a GWT wrapper for this Bootstrap Grid component: http://bootstrap-table.wenzhixin.net.cn? Thanks!

Does anyone know if gwt bootstrap3 to dead?

Off course it's dead, long time ago. Check yourself: https://github.com/gwtbootstrap3/gwtbootstrap3/graphs/code-frequency

I don't know how many people use gwtbootstrap3... I used it a lot before...
Dmitrii Tikhomirov
@treblereel
@lofidewanto_twitter how do you think, maybe it makes sense to update it to bootstrap4 ?
Dmitrii Tikhomirov
@treblereel

CC from gwtproject/gwt : I have finished porting of gwtboostrap3 + extras, it's based on my ports of gwt-resources and gwt-widgets and is able to be compiled in the ADVANCED closure compiler mode, so the resulting .js size is only 2.5mb and it includes all js and css resources, not bad, isn't ?

take a look https://env-9441834.cloud.unispace.io
