    when apple will check you app they dont know you are using calls to facebook. Only way it can be visible if they checking network communication traffik

    It needs the Facebook extension to get the user to login and get Id's / usernames / token etc
    Not something you can really hide

    yes, looks like trap :( extension need to be updated to apple login, after this apple redirect to facebook and rest should be the same

    Android studio installing all parts properly. You can try do it by yourself or save time with studio. After installing it you only need properly update hxcpp config file with correct paths to sdk, ndk and java. I remember haxe had setup android option, not sure if its still working.

    Think i got it building ok in gradle, but its not creating a signed apk. All i get is a single app-armeabi-v7a-release-unsigned.apk
    Anyone know how to get gradle to create a signed apk ?

    Got it working by manually putting some code in the main build.gradle but is it supposed to pick up my certificate setting automatically like Ant does?

    I am doing final release by importing project to android studio. Prefer visual form for packaging.

    Well, if you're using latest hxcpp and haxe and nme it should work out of the box with...
    haxelib run nme test android -gradle <-- If you're testing, have a device plugged in or emulator running.
    Or to build all 4 ABIS run
    haxelib run nme build android -gradle
    And for signing use
    haxelib run nme build android -gradle -sign
    If any of those don't work with ~/samples/DisplayingABitmap just file an issue with your haxe/hxcpp/nme versions listed.
    By "latest" nme I mean "git version"
    And NDK(r20)

    It sounds like its just the problem of lack of documentation again, with Ant you didn't have to build with -sign you use the <certificate> tag and you set your architectures with the <arch> tag
    New people coming to NME are going to really struggle to get everything working

    @PaulGene could I ask where? I am over towards Bath but not really working in software currently :( I tried the challenge a year or two ago in Kha when the held the game jam at Aardmaan, but was hard to get anyone interested in Haxe so ended up with the unchoosen and they just seemed to fustrate rather than really contribute. Probably end up doing it solo, but if any Haxe people wanted to come down I could put them up, not fussed on engine, I can probably do some illustration, last time a sound guy from another team helped. Some of the unity entries seemed pretty good, was disappointed my haxe one was no where near finished, I presented something I think they were suprised but it was far from what you might term a game more some transition screens and some drag and drop.
    an old flash mate from Manchester may come down, he's pretty good at design and can probably pick up Haxe, if he comes then I think could make something good.
    I have not been following haxe engines over the summer I presume NME is fine with Haxe4 ?

    but i need the extensions, does anyone know why they would be failing?

    must be some build setting i need to change somewhere :S
