I am also having an issue trying to download the latest data. When I use the map, it never gets past "Download all healthsite data from generating..."

Anyone with the answer for @jolynnciesin and my question? I think the link might be having an issue.

Hello, how can I find out about the history of imported data? There is a 'source' attribute in each record but where can I learn more?
Tim Sutton
@timlinux
@k0ala currently we dont provide the full history for a site on HS.io but
image.png
id you click the OpenStreetMap link in the site details
Screenshot 2020-04-17 at 09.11.14.png
and then scroll down in the OSM side panel you can click ‘View History'
Then you can see the detailed amenity history

@jdcayetano and @jolynnciesin our developer is busy trying to fix it today (the broken downloads) - will update in the ticket above when it is sorted out

Hey @maze2point0 i'm facing the same issue when using /api/v2/facilities/ to get France facilities. I also en up with a 502. Did you find another solution a part from requesting multiple times? It's OK for other EU countries though
Marcel
@maze2point0
I built a while loop for requesting until status code 200. However, that worked fine for Germany and Russia, but not for France. I changed the strategy and downloaded poi data from geofabrik
Vicky NSENGA
@vichanse
I don’t get why it’s doesn’t work with France and no problem when using curl. I will geofabrik a try then. Thankx a lot for the tip🤘🏾

@vichanse
Thankx @markherringer for raising the ticket. Imma watch it.
@markherringer i have the "Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: Redirect is not allowed for a preflight request" when i try to use the API from an XMLHttpRequest. Do you know how i can get rid of it? Thank you very much
Mark Herringer
@markherringer
Interesting, sounds like you're trying to get on a jet. @nixilla could you raise a ticket for this ?
Vicky NSENGA
@vichanse
Hello @markherringer for the preflight problem i ended up creating a cloud function which does the job. No more preflight problem. Any clue about the issue above on large dataset?

Is it possible to query only for hospitals and not all healthsites using the api/v2?

hello - first of all many thanks for this great project
question: To which extend i can use the data of healthsites.io - can i use the maps too? can we use the data-extracts and the Maps too!?

are they released under the: Open Data License (ODBL)
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Global_Healthsites_Mapping_Project
https://github.com/healthsites/healthsites/wiki/healthsites.io-license

guess: Since the data is released under Open Data License (ODBL), have a look at the TLDR Legal for ODBL. that said: it seems like we can use the data since it indeed fits the conditions of the license.
gueess that we can use:

look forward to hear from you - regards martin

Is there a way to search for facilities by both name, and country? The v2 > facilities > list API method accepts a country filter, but appears to have no way to narrow down by name. The v2 > facilities > autocomplete > list API method takes a query string, but doesn't appear to allow a country filter.

Hi everybody I have a basic question
Which is Is all the added information fed back to openstreetmap?
Sorry, sentence got messed up: Is all added information fed back to OSM? If not all but some, which?
Mark Herringer
@markherringer
Hello @MarcMart
Attributes 12,13,14,18 are saved to postgres and published through the open API and the shape files
We didn't managed to have these attributes accepted by the tagging@openstreetmap.org
The rest use OpenStreetMap as the data store, which is our goal

Hi all - I'm new to Healthsites.io, so just trying to find my way around. The website says data will be made available in CSV format but I cannot see any obvious links for this. I'm looking for a global list of health facilities with their latt/longs for a research project. Any pointers very grateful recevied. Many thanks, Mike
Mark Herringer
@markherringer
Hello Mike here is the global shape file:
you can extract .csv from the shape
here is the Healthsites HDX page
the data formats here include GEOJSON CSV ZIPPED SHAPEFILE
as well as .CSV + HXL

hi @all
first of all: many thanks for bringing healthsites to the world: this is just outstanding and great!

i work for an organization that contributes to volunteering opportunities especially in the field of education and medicine (hospital, clinic etc. etx).
peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. Volunteerism - in general - is a powerful means of engaging people in tackling development challenges, and it can transform the the engagement of a single volunteer. Volunteerism benefits both society at large and - besides that- the individual volunteer by strengthening trust, solidarity and reciprocity among citizens, and by purposefully creating opportunities for participation. At the moment we re thinking about doing some first steps with the great dataset of healthsites.

– regarding healthsites this is the most important link: https://healthsites.io/api/docs/
Means there is an API to get the data from with a personal API key …: note: with this - i should be able to put the data on a website

  • e.g. to a mapping plugins of wordpress. there some of them working with openStreetmap - see for example: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/search/map/
    they are equipped with a whole lot of top notch and very advanced features so we do not need to manually embedded map.
    In addition to single or multiple locations, interactive map plugins provide:

– were able to add – Custom icons and markers
– Animations
– Filter and search options
– Clusterization
– Zooming and panning
– pinning the map to a block
– using the data that comes shipped with the map.

question: can we run and apply the data from the Open data collaboration https://healthsites.io in wordpress
look forward to hear from you

above all: keep up the great project - it rocks.
regards
martin

Hello?
tarifa-man
@tarifa10

good day dear experts
I've been working with healthcare in the past, but most of what I have seen is proprietary. I'm interested in reproducible research hence my need for open data. Any suggestions?
see for example some ressources: https://npgeo-corona-npgeo-de.hub.arcgis.com/datasets/348b643c8b234cdc8b1b345210975b87_0

and the other ones:

https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/nga::africa-osm-health-facilities

questions: can i work with the data and maps and thelike from above!? Is this possible?!

btw: the healthsites.io - project provides data that is very limited - i think that the do not have the full set of data (of openstreetmap) i guess that there is only a small amount and subset of data (of osm) derived... therefore i guess that healthcare.io only delivers a weak set of data - worse and not usable for my goals...
