@kordero
not need to use firebug these days anymore
I guess that all browsers have their own console
built in
not sure for safari cause I don't use that browser when developing
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
I haven't used a browser console before
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
though you can use firebug for that purpose, off course
hmm sounds like a pita to debug then
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
oh cool, just found a heap of stuff in firefox :P never seen them before
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
in firefox just try CTRL + SHIFT + k
which OS?
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
Yeah debugging was commenting out sections until something worked :P
CTRL + SHIFT + k works
running fedora 20
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
nice
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
doesn't like to refresh my secondary monitor though :(
what do you use?
I'm thinking debian for next reinstall
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
ubuntu and debian on PCs, OSX on MACs
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
cool
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
when does init get called?
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
you can see that in the layout code
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
I mean views/layout/header.php and js/hifi.js @Ryan-A-B
Grayson Stebbins
@problem
@ryan-a-b @kordero you two can connect now :)
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
hey @Ryan-A-B, how are you doing?
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
Hey @kordero, I'm good, you?
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
doing well, was dealing with your changes, looks like you didn't pushed all of your changes yet, was copying them and about to push myself by using my fork
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
oh sorry, I thought it was up to date
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
try $ git push please
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
Everything up-to-date
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
where are you running that?
from sandbox
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
what about this:
$ git push origin 20273
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
fatal: refs/remotes/origin/HEAD cannot be resolved to branch.
Unexpected end of command stream
I also get this message:
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
try this please
$ git remote set-url origin https://github.com/Ryan-A-B/hifi-web
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
ok that was succesful, so I ran git push origin 20273 and got Everything up-to-date again
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
ok now it's not reporting anymore that your branch is ahead of origin/20273 by 6 commits
so I guess we're ok now
nm, just to be safe, I'll keep doing what I started to do before talking with you
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
alright
Lucas Crisman
@kordero
I might tty later but I need a moment now, thanks!
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
no worries
Ryan-A-B
@Ryan-A-B
