@AndrewMeadows i fixed the bots, they emit audio now, all i had to do is set CHANCE_OF_SOUND to 0.001

Great to hear you have bots working, Thoys!
@thoys if you'd like to make the bots more realistic/interesting, go for it. Lots of fun things to do there, I'd love to have better versions to demo.

Hey so I was going through some of the JS code and saw something like print(foo) in, I think, Crazy Legs. This leads me to believe that there is an interactive window or something where JS output can be sent. Does this exist?

that will print to STDOUT wherever the script engine running the script is running

@webdood, there is a JS script called overlayExample.js that perhaps has an some code you could modify.
I was just looking at that script for the first time today. It makes a bunch of script-driven UI overlays, one of which updates its text.
it would be theoretically possible to modify the example script so that you could "print" to a particular overlay on the screen.

Hey, just one question; is there a "serverlist" with all the servers who are currently available?
Stephen Birarda
@birarda
Apr 07 2014 22:01
meaning domain-servers?
we don’t currently have a list of the active servers, because there’s not really any way for us to know for sure other than the ones we are running ourselves

@webdood @AndrewMeadows print() is meant for debug, it output in the log that you can open with command + L
To give user feedback, @AndrewMeadows is right, you can use an overlay that you update yourself.

@SydoxX, visit thoys.nl sometime :)
But would be nice to have some kind of domain directory service, where you can let ur domain ping to
optionally

for now that could be as simple as a google spreadsheet that anyone can modify
or a thread in the forum inviting people to come to your domain

Thijs Wenker
@thoys
Apr 07 2014 23:10
or a wiki page?
Stephen Birarda
@birarda
Apr 07 2014 23:10
yeah, could be a wiki page on GH
feel free to start that and add yourself to the list
hmm adding (hifi://root.highfidelity.io/0,0,0/0,0,0) links in markdown didn't work for me
