click that and it should have a line about "Average Clock Skew"

about 7.3 on most
when connected

do the packet ignored messages happen at same time when the logout occurs?
Lhasamencur
@Lhasamencur
Apr 26 2014 00:01
no theyre constant (while logged in)
i think (gonna try get it to log glitch to check) i get the other errors when it does that
ok yeah so basically the ignoring unreasonable pack - flight time errors are constant

wait - what does the voxels & particles stats say about "Average Flight Time" or "incoming packets"
are you able to do a windows build? Or are you just running the installer?

varies quite alot from server to server but the worst (server 2) Incoming Packets: 247/ Lost: 4/ Recovered: 62
Out of Order: 124/ Early: 61/ Late: 63/ Really Late: 0/ Duplicate: 1
Average Flight Time: 114 msecs
Average Ping Time: 170 msecs
Average Clock Skew: 7,435 msecs
Incoming Bytes: 366,308 Wasted Bytes: 4,192 [most...] [less...]
I'm not unfortunately, running installer only

ok
well - we're going to do some windows testing here.
it's interesting though that you are getting some "legit" packets…. or else you'd see Incoming Packets: 0

yeah
the voip streams for example seem fine (until the login/logout blips occur) where as voxel building (and related sounds) is very in and out all the time

@AndrewMeadows Thanks for the heads up. I figured there was a reason it'd been sitting idly in the Work queue for a month

well - the audio packets are the same either way…

just noticed slapping down voxels quickly causes the login/outs to occur way way more frequently
Brad Hefta-Gaub
@ZappoMan
Apr 26 2014 00:08
but you in the case of the "sound effects" (say building sounds) you are sending them out from your machine (then it's getting mixed by server) and then getting sent back to you with the audio mix from microphone streams.
hmmm
well - that's interesting.
it could be that something about the voxel building is blowing up your upstream pipe...

@CDainMiller , I created this job: https://worklist.net/19607 which is easier than the walk animation one, IMO. You could try that.

@ZappoMan same deal on another network

@Lhasamencur - what about your CPU load and/or frame rate? is your system under stress?
do you have Spatialized Audio turned on? (if so, maybe try turning that off)
it could be that this is happening when you're under severe CPU load, and that's causing you to get kicked off the domain server...
this may be unrelated to the flight time thing… but could explain the dropped audio packets and the getting logged out

i figured it might be the spatialized audio so disabled but same deal, and no CPU is cruising at like 12% (i7-3820 @3.9ghz)
GPU likewise fairly unloaded at about 20-45%
