I'm on Arch and have the same problem, which I've worked around by removing use of QMediaPlayer from interface. QT is on gstreamer0.10, and a plugin or other dependency might be calling 1.0...? Are there any *nix based developers here experiencing the problem?

I am grasping for straws based on the troubleshooting section of this article http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer/tree/docs/random/porting-to-1.0.txt

o
i've just resigned myself to not having audio under linux for the time being
it's usually too choppy for me to make out much anyways
which seems to be a wifi issue

If anyone is looking for an easy project to work on… check out this job on WorkList… https://worklist.net/19616
it should be pretty easy to do since all the code to actually do the import is written, this is just a matter of exposing a new JS api…

it would be ideal if we had a tree view of all our visited domains with details like - when did I last login, the duration spent, probably a screenshot also

I notice that on Windows the interface log file is created in ...\AppData\Local\interface\Logs instead of ...\AppData\Local\High Fidelity\Interface\Logs.
Should I lodge this as an issue then supply a fix in a pull request, or should I just supply a fix in a pull request?
