@problem - can I request an alpha invite for a friend? I'm already in but would like to get someone I work with on projects in as well.

Hi, is there a way to use hifi to collaborative 3d modeling from multiple rgbd sensors? Or any documentation on the system structure itself?

docs.highfidelity.io has some bits that might answer a small part of that.

@mojovski , 3d modelling from rgb-d sensors sounds interesting, could be voxelized or some kind of meta voxels. You'll need to interface to your sensors, extensions are writable for this since the hifi project is opensource. If you find anything that stops you from reaching your goal, then you could submit a bug/feature on www.worklist.net under the hifi project

@thoys , thank you! well, I do already have a framework which constructs implicit surfaces from multiple sensor measurements. Now I am looking for a way to store it and to make it accessible to multiple users (opengl viewers). Would be great if there is some documentaion about the system interfaces. the diagrams dont really point me to the modules in the source code

does someone know the location of the voxel-server source (if any)?

@mojovski voxel-server is ran on an assignment client, its a type of assignment, I believe theres a voxel library project too

Ok, after having a look on the files, I started a discussion about collaborative 3d modeling here:http://docs.highfidelity.io/v1.0/discuss/545d14075b86c608004df815 thanks again for the help so far!
