Could anyone capable - try the following with Interface- with stats displayed (% key toggles). Note position, it doesn't matter what it is, just note the middle number (altitude). Press forward movement key Up Arrow or W. Hold a few seconds (5 is probably plenty). Does your altitude change? Now try Down Arrow or S. Same thing - about 5 seconds. Does your altitude decrease? What I'm chasing here is if it's a me thing that forward/backward movement also leads to height changes or something all or some subset of all sees. I don't think that would be intended to have forward movement also increase altitude (or the inverse).

Problem solved (thanks to ctrlaltdavid) Needed a sensor reset. Thing is... why would this persist over multiple Interface restarts? I had enabled lookatwithmouse.js (or whatever it's called) - turned it off but it had left my (not sure what to call) vectors such that I no longer accelerated 2 dimensionally. That's all well and good - but why should something like that persist after shutting down interface and starting again... seems... fraught with peril.

yeah, if the view is off for any reason when you go forward you literally go forward at that degree, which you just reset with ‘ (or reset sensors as you said)

right - but point being that should not persist after closing interface and restarting. I don't mind pushing ' to reset, during a running session. Seems a fail that it's not initializing to some sane orientation on startup.

yeah, that is the one problem with look with mouse, well ok two since it blows the voice button sadly - it needs to coded to reset the view on script unload - that or reset the view on script load
err reser on interface load

all of above - it should reset if the script is terminated (do they have shutdown events?) and certainly should on iface start. Today was first time I've used that script. Has learned :)

@OmegaHeron Yes, scripts have shutdown events.

cool - perhaps an addition of reset senors on lookWithMouse.js shutdown would be a good thing to use one for.

What functionality does Interface + RealSense provide at present? (Just wondering whether or not to get a dev kit.)
