since UE4 is working on Pi2 and I see some interest in here, wonder if anyone has a doc yet on what works or what is still needed to make HiFi work. I was going to build a system with intel i5 but I could switch to Pi2. I am going to buy one today.

You could probably get the Rift working on a Pi by porting over the old 0.2.x SDK, but you'd need some work to do that and still support the DK2, and you'd lose positional tracking (until someone implements the camera capture and fusion code in open source).
If you don't care about the Rift though, that's not really an issue I guess.

right now I am open for anything dealing with HiFi even some parts that doesn't work on Pi2. but right now with the Windows executable I get nothing of interest and that's why I haven't followed HiFi as closely as Opensimulator. I think I got an invite sometime ago to join the alpha server, but I don't know what happened to that.

Well you can go to http://data.highfidelity.io and do a forgot password if you set it up. Otherwise you can email chris@highfidelity.io for an invite, if you wish to join us :)

I will do that. I am really exciting to do something with the Pi2. so I will use i5/i7 to do the normal development and use the Pi2 to see what works or not. hm, I need myself cloned.

why not use an Octocore TV stick instead of Pi2?

hi
price point is pretty good for Pi2 but think maybe can get faster quad for same money, or spend more for octo

@Triplelexx yes I am thinking of price. For octocore ($42) you have to have an order of 1000 and it only supports 1 Gb memory. Pi2 has 4-core but less that 1GHz and 1 Gb memory. But you should be able to run your processors on both. For opensimulator its 1-core/1 Gb memory per 1 region although I have run on a 4-core 16-regions and some people their regions at 2 mllion or higher of objects. For HiFi, I don't have the numbers yet but since its voxel, it will use a lot of memory.

Blendshape coefficients for face animation: am I correct in thinking that each coefficient has a minimum value of 0.0f and a maximum value of 1.0f?
