I'm wondering if I should have to re-run CMake when I merge in updates to get all changes in the sln? I would like to avoid rebuilding interface as much as possible, Anyone mind advising how they handle this?

in general when you pull new code you should re-run cmake
there are some cases where you can avoid that… but it’s too nuanced to explain easily.

so you are required to rebuild everything then? I guess if there's only changes it's fine
I understand

re-running cmake won’t always cause a rebuild of all code

ok, so just rerun , try and debug and hope for the best then
thanks

in general - if no new files were added or removed, you won’t need to re-run cmake

Awesome, think I'm finally starting to get to grips with source control, and this general working in a team lark. :)
I've been using P4 as well, pretty cool
if you make the effort

is there a script for controlling mic volume? I find I have to turn down the level on the sound card. I see it's exposed to script.
something you can use with a level or automatic reading and adjustment. Is that something I can write myself in script?
Success Kid! Merged changes and built in 5 min.
