@ctrlaltdavid @PhilipRosedale From I understood from the PR, that allows us to filter the log by module now.
It let’s you create a bunch of nested categories (i.e. network, entities, avatars, drivers, drivers.usb, drivers.usb.events) and then you can independently decide for each category whether you want to turn on/off debug and for wich type of debug (i.e. qDebug, qWarning, qCritical, qFatal).

SInce it’s nested you can do things like say turn of all drivers logging except drivers.usb.events and you’ll only gets the usb events.
I believe austin made it so you can configure that by JSON but I haven’t checked it out yet.

i think its the downloaded file particularly
just delete it and redownload and i think youll be fine

Judas, that error message to me looks like the original download got corrupted (hence the error message), and if you kept getting the same error after redownloading it was probably cached somewhere on or between your PC and HiFi's servers. (Some caches don't validate properly.)

^im thinking possibly kaspersky virus prog is stamping on it , its not showing anything tho. i got it to install downloading it on a different pc to a mem stick and installing it from that
