I'm an instructional designer at Juniper Networks that specializes in rich media, e-learning course content. See: http://www.visualengagement.net/contrail/story.html

I'm starting to get more and more excited about the possibilities of using augmented reality and virtual worlds platforms for educational course content. (My LinkedIn profile: www.linkedin.com/pub/bruce-paul/7/455/8a7).

I just started a LinkedIn group 2 weeks ago called Virtual Augmented Learning (see: https://www.linkedin.com/grp/home?gid=7000552) and 700 educators have already joined. There will be thousands by the end of the year. I’m already working on a website that will be covering the same content and serving the educational sector.

I’m hoping I can participate in the success of High Fidelity by creating free e-learning content, much in the same way Andrew Cramer makes free After Effects tutorials on Video Copilot. I can certainly start working with the technical documentation at docs.highfidelity.com, but was wondering if there might be some developers or others there at High Fidelity that could help and direct me in these efforts.

Regards
Bruce Paul

I am Coal, one of the admins at docs.highfidelity.com and can tell you the person you need to reach out to is chris@highfidelity.com and he can direct you in the way of handling the documents application.
They usually use http://worklist.net to post documents they want, there is an open one now at https://worklist.net/20571 - but that does not mean you cannot offer ideas and suggestions, but Chris is the way to go

We could use some documentation for sure.
Particularly scripting API docs. There is almost nothing.

Thanks nbq - I will message Chris to see where your priorities are right now and where I might best fit in.

I might be able to help with the technical docs - it's not my strength. I often use a tec writer's work to create my course content, but I'm a better fit making those easy to understand visual demo videos that your end users are going to find helpful. I see that you have an open rec for a tec writer. If there is great need and it is taking a while to fill this position, I will consider temporarily filling in the gap.
