Please join us at our official forum: https://forums.highfidelity.com/c/development High Fidelity is an open source virtual world platform. We are building the software with a mix of full-time developers, part time developers who are paid on worklist.net, and open source collaborators. As use of the virtual world grows, Worklist will also host paid projects run by other teams. https://worklist.net
I'm an instructional designer at Juniper Networks that specializes in rich media, e-learning course content. See: http://www.visualengagement.net/contrail/story.html
I'm starting to get more and more excited about the possibilities of using augmented reality and virtual worlds platforms for educational course content. (My LinkedIn profile: www.linkedin.com/pub/bruce-paul/7/455/8a7).
I just started a LinkedIn group 2 weeks ago called Virtual Augmented Learning (see: https://www.linkedin.com/grp/home?gid=7000552) and 700 educators have already joined. There will be thousands by the end of the year. I’m already working on a website that will be covering the same content and serving the educational sector.
I’m hoping I can participate in the success of High Fidelity by creating free e-learning content, much in the same way Andrew Cramer makes free After Effects tutorials on Video Copilot. I can certainly start working with the technical documentation at docs.highfidelity.com, but was wondering if there might be some developers or others there at High Fidelity that could help and direct me in these efforts.
