Could the build instructions for Linux please be updated? I had followed the instructions in BUILD.md and BUILD_LINUX.md but compilation kept failing until I found the instructions on https://docs.highfidelity.com/docs/ubuntu-1410-compile and those worked like a charm. I am running Kubuntu 15.10.

@Fritigern : Yes, it is frustrating. Right now the Linux build doesn't work and the daily Mac builds crash upon launch.

@larsnaesbye : I noticed that. I see a lot of references to windows paths in the console. May have something to do with that. But besides the Linux client being broken, there is still the matter of incorrect build instructions.

The lInux build works, but is broken. After login, I get immediately disconnected (though I seem to still be logged in) and hang in limbo, surrounded by stars and a glowing sphere some distance away from me. I can not go anywhere, I tried earth, sandbox and other places and although I seem to change location, the scene never rezzes. Sometimes I do catch a glimpse of something, but that's brief and the big emptiness immediately comes back.

Logging on and seeing bright stars all around you and little white ball off in the distance using means you're off grid in traditional simulated terms
