in DisplayPlugin.cpp there's an error on debug build, for NullDisplayPlugin missing a definition for an abstract function
but none of the related files were modified recently... am I missing something?

Hi @here!

I build the source code, make Interface and launched it locally. Now I want to launched the Sandbox for the build code. So, I make domain-server and assignment-client too but still I am not able to run local Sandbox. Can anyone help me here, please?

Hello Clemant!

To run the sandbox, follow the instruction inside the server-console directory
You'll have to install npm to run it.
The Sandbox (Previously named server-console) is just a shell to manage the different processes.
You could run them manually too if you wanted.

Okay!

You'd need to run ./domain-server and ./assignment-client -n7
But running the Sandbox should be easier.

Can I use Interface of the generated build along with downloaded Sanbox App for doing the tasks.

Meaning you can't connect to it with the interface?

If you only run ./domain-server and ./asignment-client -n7 manually, the server will be empty. Is it possible you connected but just did not see anything?
The title bar of interface at the top will say (Not connected) if you are not connected to any domains.

The title bar of the Interface shows sachinmahapure @ dev-welcome (build dev)

Ok, you're connected to dev-welcome right now.
Go to localhost
(Assuming the server is running on the same machine)

I accessed http://localhost:40100/ and it brings me to the domain-server page.

Great that means the server is running.
Do you see any nodes in the list?
Sachin Mahapure
@sachinmahapure
Jul 17 2017 18:22
Yes, Its showing a list of node like asset-server, audio mixer etc
Clément Brisset
@Atlante45
Jul 17 2017 18:26
Awesome, that means the server is running. (If you want more infos about what those nodes are, see our docs: https://docs.highfidelity.com/get-started/what-is-high-fidelity/architecture)
If you go to localhost host with your interface, it'll connect to the Server running on the same machine.

By "the created virtual world", do you mean the default content set shipped with the release builds?

I mean to say my home domain where I can create my own world.
