the Eschatology domain crashes for me, and in debug mode it asserts because of a "Type" error in deserialization
ChristophHaag/hifi@9bdfee3 works around that and prints DESERIALIZE ERROR: 2000 != 2100
btw the rendering error in steamvr on linux was tracked down by valve, it's the custom steamvr supersampling code being buggy and they'll fix it
if anyone has a Mac with Mac OS X and any HMD supported by SteamVR, my master branch may or may not work on Mac OS X https://github.com/ChristophHaag/hifi/commits/master

the variable is called CONTOLLER_SCRIPTS so it's okay, just a typo
ChristophHaag @ChristophHaag is trying to find out why the advanced movement menu entry is not added to the menu on linux

i'm about 75% sure that this workaround for a segfault is the one that actually discards the advanced movement setting menu entry now ChristophHaag/hifi@47b8e69
because it is added programmatically in a js script

it's not though. It was crashing only when trying to insert a "Mono Preview" menu entry into the "Display" submenu and there menu->getMenu("Display") returned null

i don't get it. now the menu entry is there and all i did was add a couple qWarning() outputs to see whether it actually gets added (it did)
but it doesn't do anything when enbaled..
