started list of issues in main repo, and in particular, problematic addresses.
please add to the list as you identify more problem addresses. it is helpful to include the line item number and/or paste the object/record so we can use it for testing the code.

andrew and i were looking at socrata's API: http://dev.socrata.com/docs/queries.html#the-limit-parameter
by default they limit results to 1000, but it's something you guys can adjust

thanks, Tony. max is only 50000. will need to re-fetch to get 163,000+. export for JSON grabs all records at once, but need to filter out the keys.
Andrew, whichever way you decide to go, can you export one complete JSON object?
jpbatz
@jpbatz
oops, i meant, can you return one complete JSON object?

@jpbatz @Champstarr Here are some links to get you started with postgres on your computer if you haven't done it yet
only do up to step 4
you will want to create a user with a password, and a database, then grant that user access to the database
that's going to be used for your development server
Tony Gaskell
@thgaskell
to start up use
pg_ctl -D /usr/local/var/postgres
(can be found using brew info postgres)

I followed the instructions, and am logged in as my sql user "dbuser", have postgres running, executed the sql commands to add the dbuser and hitraffic database and grant all privileges, and am not able to run "psql template1" or "psql -d template1 -U dbuser" - I get message "psql: FATAL: role "dbuser" does not exist" - but i am in the dbuser account.
Galactica-Pegasus:~ dbuser$ ps -ef | grep postgres
503 13712 13710 0 12:04PM ?? 0:00.00 postgres: checkpointer process
503 13713 13710 0 12:04PM ?? 0:00.01 postgres: writer process
503 13714 13710 0 12:04PM ?? 0:00.00 postgres: wal writer process
503 13715 13710 0 12:04PM ?? 0:00.00 postgres: autovacuum launcher process
503 13716 13710 0 12:04PM ?? 0:00.00 postgres: stats collector process
240 13718 13674 0 12:05PM ttys000 0:00.00 grep postgres
503 13710 12818 0 12:04PM ttys002 0:00.04 postgres -D /usr/local/var/postgres
Galactica-Pegasus:~ dbuser$ psql
psql: FATAL: role "dbuser" does not exist
Galactica-Pegasus:~ dbuser$ psql template1
psql: FATAL: role "dbuser" does not exist
Galactica-Pegasus:~ dbuser$ psql -d template1 -U dbuser
psql: FATAL: role "dbuser" does not exist
there is no adduser or useradd command, so i used System Preferences - Users and Groups to add dbuser, with privileges.
also, cannot su - postgres. i can see account in /etc/passwd, but it requires a password. shall i just change the password? did not know if something else is requiring the current password. results from Google indicate postgres does not need a password, but not able to su - postgres from root, either.

jph@Galactica-Pegasus:/etc|⇒ psql template1
psql (9.4.1)
Type "help" for help.

template1=# help
You are using psql, the command-line interface to PostgreSQL.
Type: \copyright for distribution terms
\h for help with SQL commands
\? for help with psql commands
\g or terminate with semicolon to execute query
\q to quit
template1=# \?
template1=# CREATE USER dbuser WITH PASSWORD 'dbuserpwd'
template1-# CREATE DATABASE hitraffic
template1-# GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON DATABASE hitraffic to dbuser

jph@Galactica-Pegasus:/etc|⇒ grep postgres /etc/passwd
_postgres:*:216:216:PostgreSQL Server:/var/empty:/usr/bin/false
don't have dbuser entry in /etc/passwd, though, i can su - dbuser
Galactica-Pegasus:~ dbuser$ psql hitraffic
psql: FATAL: role "dbuser" does not exist
Galactica-Pegasus:~ dbuser$ psql -d hitraffic -U dbuser
psql: FATAL: role "dbuser" does not exist
