    of this is not the norm and BSONObjectID is what is used in most cases

    what is the difference between BSON and JSON collection in reactive mongo ?
    gkirill
    @gkirill
    keep getting MongoError['No primary node is available!'] error when trying to connect to mongo
    I've googled it up, the most frequent answer is that mongo is not running.. but it is running in my case. I am curling it from shell and I am getting It looks like you are trying to access MongoDB over HTTP on the native driver port.
    I probably need to add that I run mongo in a mongo docker container and scala code in scala/sbt docker container; mongo db is linked by name es-mongo to scala/sbt container, and when I curl from within scala/sbt container I do
    root@58e536c6f189:/opt/events-service# curl es-mongo:27017
    It looks like you are trying to access MongoDB over HTTP on the native driver port.
    gkirill
    @gkirill
    and then in code I do the following
        private val driver = new MongoDriver
        private val connection = driver.connection(List("es-mongo:27017"))
        private val db = connection.db("events")
        private val collection = db.collection[BSONCollection]("events")
    but I get
    [info] Running EventsService
    ERROR StatusLogger No log4j2 configuration file found. Using default configuration: logging only errors to the console.
    12:50:07.115 [ForkJoinPool-2-worker-1] ERROR reactivemongo.api.Failover - Got an error, no more attempts to do. Completing with a failure...
    reactivemongo.core.actors.Exceptions$PrimaryUnavailableException$: MongoError['No primary node is available!']
    Google hasn't helped. Any ideas?
    gkirill
    @gkirill
    Ok, I think I may not the reason. Will write up result later
    Duncan Crawford
    @duncancrawford
    @gkirill is this specifically related to simple-reactivemongo or just reactivemongo?

    hello , i am using reactivemongo-extensions with query dsl
    but he problm is that, when this query "userService.findRandom($and("email" $eq clientCredential.clientId, "password" $eq clientCredential.clientSecret, "grantType" $eq grantType))" the values return empty
    but when i run this query "userService.findRandom(BSONDocument("email" -> clientCredential.clientId, "password" -> clientCredential.clientSecret, "grantType" -> grantType));" the values are return, what is the problem with query DSL ?
    Duncan Crawford
    @duncancrawford
    Sorry but I am going to suggest that you turn to the appropriate Google group as we do not support reactivemongo-extensions.
    Harmeet Singh(Taara)
    @harmeetsingh0013
    its ok @duncancrawford , i think reactive mongo is also the part of reactivemongo-extension

    @duncancrawford
    @harmeetsingh0013 we do not support reactivemongo libs. As much as we would like to help we simply won't be able to due to other commitments we have. Please seek advise from the community forums
    Harmeet Singh(Taara)
    @harmeetsingh0013
    thanks @duncancrawford for your advice

    hello to all
    is it possible multitenancy using reactive mongo?
    i want to create the new db for every customer on the fly
    Duncan Crawford
    @duncancrawford
    Yes this is possible we actually do this exact thing per session. I can try and dig our course out
    Harmeet Singh(Taara)
    @harmeetsingh0013
    is there any sample application for mulitenancy ?
    Harmeet Singh(Taara)

    hello to all.
    Hopw to run reactivemongo RawCommand for Json Collection.

    ```val commandBson = BSONDocument(
    "update" -> "users",
    "updates" -> BSONArray(users.map(singleUpdate)),
    "ordered" -> false,
    "writeConcern" -> BSONDocument( "w" -> "majority", "wtimeout" -> 5000)
    )
    db.command(RawCommand(commandBson))``` i
    in this i want to use json document
    Knut Petter Meen
    @kpmeen
    @duncancrawford are there any constraints? is it, for example, an option to have a name that has nothing to do with either reactive of mongo?
    Duncan Crawford
    @duncancrawford
    @kpmeen Could do sure. What are you thinking?
    Knut Petter Meen
    @kpmeen
    @duncancrawford nothing as of yet…but I’ll try to come up with something :-)
