    hello :)

    Hey
    Mark
    @sanbornm
    Hola

    @c4milo
    hola

    Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with setting up gowsdl. I'm using go get github.com/hooklift/gowsdl/..., my doesn't run however because github.com/hooklift/gowsdl/generator can't be found
    I do have my GOPATH setup as well export GOPATH=$HOME/go, what am I doing wrong?
    Donald Adu-Poku
    @dnldd
    Figured it out. I was using old generated files (version 0.2.0 uses a different set of imports). Regenerating the services fixed it.
    Camilo Aguilar
    @c4milo
    @dnldd yes, I'm sorry for that. There were some breaking changes for the good.

    @c4milo I also noticed for packages with multiple wsdl files, gowsdl generates the timeout var, SOAPEnvelope, SOAPHeader, SOAPBody and more for each file. You have to edit and remove redundancies before it will compile. Perhaps a new flag is needed to generate files without the helpers (the added vars, structs and functions) ?
    Camilo Aguilar
    @c4milo
    @dnldd gah, you are right. That was one of the reasons I didn't want to generate the soap client. But I didn't remember it when @sanbornm proposed the change. I think we are going to have to split out soap client generation from the actual WSDL code generation.
    and give it its own command
    what do you think @dnldd?
    Donald Adu-Poku
    @dnldd
    @c4milo I think that works well, it's simpler than what I suggested and would handle all usecases. :+1:

    hi everyone, having a problem parsing a WSDL file. Can anyone help? SOAPUI managed to parse this file (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30805413/troubleTicket.WSDL) however
    Donald Adu-Poku
    @dnldd
    I get 51:3: expected '}', found 'struct' (and 7 more errors) when I try generating from the wsdl linked
    Camilo Aguilar
    @c4milo
    @dnldd I think that's due to this issue: hooklift/gowsdl#27

    Hi everyone, I want to use generated go file, but I don't understand how( Can anyone give minimal example how to do this?
    Camilo Aguilar
    @c4milo
    @vlad-lukyanov do you have your WSDL locally?
    Vlad Lukyanov
    @vlad-lukyanov
    @c4milo yes
    Camilo Aguilar
    @c4milo
    @vlad-lukyanov did you download gowsdl?
    are you on windows? linux? OS X?
    Vlad Lukyanov
    @vlad-lukyanov
    @c4milo linux, I have gowsdl, compiled it, run it with my wsdl file, I have myservice.go file and I want to make soap request? for example "Myreq" with parameters "my param" and parse the resonse
    Camilo Aguilar
    @c4milo
    ah
    I see
    is the web service publicly accessible?
    the usage will depend on the websevice
    this is another project using gowsdl: https://github.com/appropriate/go-virtualboxclient

    @vlad-lukyanov
    thank you for help, I think https://github.com/hooklift/gowsdl/tree/fix_for_%2316/examples/usda-awdb will be enough to me to understand how its works
    Camilo Aguilar
    @c4milo
    cool

    @joeblew99
    I have a general question. Do most third party systems (.NET , Java) use SOAP 1.2 ? If so, how well does this library hold up to a SOAP 1.2 system for interop ?
    Camilo Aguilar
    @c4milo
    no SOAP 1.2 support unfortunately
    in gowsdl
