    i think i see the image changes now, but i'm afraid i may still be in the same boat i was before since i need to throw the image into a pdf and i think right now it just downloads as a file straight to the browser
    Gordon Smith
    @GordonSmith
    I don't believe you can do the PDF 100% in the client (or did you say you had a lib for that?)
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    there's a few libs that can do it
    Gordon Smith
    @GordonSmith
    Doing it on a server is fairly trivial and I suspect will produce better quality PDFs
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    not trivial for us, unfortunately
    and the client libs should produce nearly the same quality
    Gordon Smith
    @GordonSmith
    Trivial if you have the infrastructure.
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    the amount of work it would take to have a server side grab a single chart and throw it in the PDF would be huge compared to a little lib just taking an image and throwing it into a PDF
    Gordon Smith
    @GordonSmith
    Well I will be curious to see how they look - is the blob we expose suitable?
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    i didn't see there was a blob exposed. was that something added?
    Gordon Smith
    @GordonSmith
    Yup
    one sec... let me get the links.
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    i must not have seen that part
    Gordon Smith
    @GordonSmith
    Hmmm I did the refactor work but didn't expose the method you need...
    I was more getting the legend in.
    You might be able to copy and paste it into your own code (and pass in a "this" instance)?
    If you open an issue, I will remove the "private" for the next release.

    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    oh awesome
    thank you
    i have other issues to work on so i can wait for the method to be made non-private
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    i think i have a working version just using html2canvas/jspdf so we may not even need you to do that extra work
    Gordon Smith
    @GordonSmith
    (that got released) - I must take a look at those...
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    changed out to dom-to-image/jspdf

    hi guys. on my pie charts, i was using myPieChart.widget().calcTotalValue() to get the sum of all the data, but since I disabled the pie chart labels that seems to have broken

    EDIT: I will try to set up an example on the sample pages

    @lucashby
    please disregard last. found the issue on our side. Thank you.

    I am still seeing issue hpcc-systems/Visualization#3488
    Should I open a new issue or can the previous one be re-used?
    Versions I am using from package.json:
    "@hpcc-js/chart": "^2.27.0",
    "@hpcc-js/layout": "^2.16.10",
    "@hpcc-js/phosphor": "^2.13.13",

    @GordonSmith
    Hi
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    I am unable to see the Gallery using IE 11...it's just blank. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with some of my charts coming up blank on Windows 10/IE 11
    Jaman Brundage
    @jbrundage
    There's a fix for it pending code review
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    oh awesome, thx
    Jaman Brundage
    @jbrundage
    sure np
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    Is there an estimated release date for that one?
    Jaman Brundage
    @jbrundage
    Likely today or tomorrow
    Looks like it was merged already.
    I'm looking into the _lazyRender issue now.
    Lucas Byers
    @lucashby
    Thank you
    and thank you for the info on the fix

    Hi All,
    I am using google line charts in angular 12. If am i using the legends inside options, i facing some errors like

    Argument of type '{ animation: { startup: boolean; duration: number; easing: string; }; curveType: string; vAxis: { baseline: number; }; }' is not assignable to parameter of type 'LineChartOptions'.
    Types of property 'curveType' are incompatible.

    `var options= {
    animation: {
    startup: true, / Need to add this for animations /
    duration: 1000,
    easing: 'out',
    },
    smoothline: 'true',
    theme: 'material',
    legend: {
    position : 'bottom'
    }

    };
    var attendanceData = document.getElementById('worker_attendance_chart') as HTMLElement;
    var chart = new google.visualization.LineChart(attendanceData);

    chart.draw(data, options);`

    Can anyone help me to solve my problem?
