We plan to have the 2017 v1.2 HUD HMIS Annual Performance Report (APR) available within HSLynk within a month. Here is the HUD site for the report: https://www.hudexchange.info/resource/4696/hmis-programming-specifications/ . We will make a Sage export for upload, as well a pdf export. APIs will be provided for both sets of functionality. After that, we will finish up the AHAR LSA.

Hi Eric- aaa! I am so glad to hear back. Your presentation sounds great- I hope it will be published online after the fact? I am at genelledenzin at cohhio dot org- please email me because I would really like to talk with you about what we're doing and find out more about what you're doing. !! So far it sounds like the main difference in my aims and yours is that you're doing a statewide data warehouse and I am just aiming at moving all our custom reporting out to R Shiny for the Ohio Balance of State CoC. I suppose we're not hostile to the idea of opening it up to other Ohio CoCs, but that's just not the thought currently.
Excellent, we have a user that is asking us to create a Hive connector to R Shiny. Maybe using "implyr". Currently, we connect Hive/Impala to Tableau and Looker, and also there's regular ODBC. But an R connector would be great for Data Scientists. Well, feel free to join our project. We are open source, and looking for people to collaborate with.
btw, how we have the warehouse structured, is as "project groups". A project group is a collection of one or more HMIS or non-HMIS projects. So you can add and subtract new projects to your set of data as you wish. Also, you can have two or more separate project groups that can selective share data with each other.

hey I wonder if the APR validations page (https://github.com/servinglynk/hslynk-open-source-docs/wiki/APR_Unit_Testing_FY2020) would be more useful with the shorter naming convention as well? Like keep the English, then in a second column, if I had for instance: Q8b.5c + Q8b.5d + Q8b.5e + Q8b.5f = Q8b.5b.
I'm getting that naming convention from the APR specs, all the question tables have the row numbers and column letters like Excel has. I know if I was coding off of this list, I'd want a more exact way to find what is being compared.

Genelle, for that issue 549 documentation, https://github.com/servinglynk/hslynk-open-source-docs/wiki/HSLynk-PostgreSQL-operational-database-schema-locations-and-documentation has listings of all our current warehouse fields. I changed the link in issue 549 to point to this. But what 549 is asking for is a little different.
I think the intent of 549 is a single list of data elements, generated from the warehouse, but adding some additional explanatory fields.
Regarding the APR validations page, yes, the shorter element ID version would be easier for programmers.
