    @roukepouw:matrix.org Does not seem to be your fault, the public host doesn't seem to handle the calls for btc correctly. Appologies, we're hoping to release a newer version (that doesn't seem to have this issue) later today.
    If you're brave enough you can run a local node from our github repo with the latest fixes :)
    batrtwr @roukepouw:matrix.org: Locally running hybrixd works great

    batrtwr For generating seeds I use this package https://www.npmjs.com/package/bip39. Would be cool to be able to import an existing seed, for generating pubkeys & doing transactions
    matrixbot
    @matrixbot
    @roukepouw:matrix.org Thanks! I've added the option to supply a user defined seed to use instead of using our own seed generation algorithm. This would facilitate integration with for example bip39 or other methods.

    batrtwr Feedback: In hybrixd-interface repo, when running npm run setup I cannot proceed without giving GitLab credentials and having repo access to https://gitlab.com/hybrix/hybrixd/ - Not urgent, just fyi

    @jacobpetrovic85:matrix.org Isn’t this because the setup script couldn’t find a interface or common folder so it started to clone those repo’s from gitlab?
    What would be the desired behavior for you?
    batrtwr Jep, that's correct ^. For this open source project I'd expect it to connect to a public git repository, instead of a private repo
    matrixbot
    @matrixbot
    @jacobpetrovic85:matrix.org ah ok, that would be helpful indeed, we'll look into that!
    batrtwr cool! @jacobpetrovic85:matrix.org

    @agent-725:matrix.org Yes, most likely our build scripts are still pointing to Gitlab. We'll put that issue on the agenda for our developer meeting coming week.

    Bartel Verkruijssen @Joachim 1) thanks for sharing some insights today. 2)I just had a look at the documentation.. some honest feedback, do with it whatever you like :-), i have a hard time getting the message just from reading the documentation. So what pain does it solve for me as "blockchain developer"?, -------qoute "This makes it possible to host your own wallet, be your own bank and have a powerful multi-blockchain system at your fingertips." this sentence can be found somewhere stuffed away in the dev docs. though it covers the general high level content for the first time. i find the description of the value in the one to many blockchain proposition is quite vague. 3) Some idea on a tool working on Hybrix, i'm following https://walletconnect.org for some time. It may be of interest to investigate providing the proxy layer to this infrastructure to enable non Ether infrastructure as well.
    @agent-725:matrix.org Thanks for your feedback! We'll use it to enhance our docs.

    @agent-725:matrix.org Walletconnect looks interesting. Would be great to see more of this also for cross-ledger applications beyond Ethereum.

    @gijs-jan:matrix.org https://api.hybrix.io has been upgraded to the latest version of hybrixd-node, the release notes with an overview of all the fixes and additions can be found in our github-repo.
    https://explorer.hybrix.io and https://wallet.internetofcoins.org are using the latest greatest version of the hybrix as well.

        # v0.5.16
        ## Furry Purple Phoenix
        ## 11-09-2019

     * recipe fixes for BTC and ARDR, IGNIS
     * added IGNIS.XHY support
     * added extra BCH host to recipe
     * small fixes: scrollbar in sidebar, clickable menu items and qrtz link on introduction page
     * qrtz indx() supports finding the location of a string
     * fee-symbol now set according to variable, before defaulting to string split method
     * add draft documentation for contributing to hybrix
     * Update node readme and setup script.
     * add-date-to-unix-conversion
     * clarify hybrixd usage in readme

    Currently we are having some issues with ElectrumX hosts in our recipes. Also the Ethereum Infura node is at times blocking our public node requests. We will be replacing these hosts soon. If anyone knows about other public nodes we can use, welcome to send a PM.
