    @drobati
    Yeah 6.11.x
    I think
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    If yes, you can import the .hyper.js file as a node module
    Than, you can access the pokemon variable
    Which will contain the pokemon from the user
    :D
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    So it's been a moment since I've spun up hyper. I kind of remember it supporting js on the commandline.
    Was that the case?
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    I’m not sure what you mean by supporting js on the commandline
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    nvm
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    You can type node in the terminal
    And then access node’s repl mode
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    I think what you're saying is node .hyper.js
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    Oh
    Not quite
    You can have a file called something.js
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    I just want echo $POKEMON
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    Oh, I see
    I don’t know how to do it directly from the terminal :/
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    Yeah, I have a command to set the title of the terminal.
    So I thought it would be cool to feed the variable into that.
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    I see
    Well, you could have a simple node script that requires the .hyper.js file
    and then call your command with the pokemon variable
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    title ()
    {
        printf "\033]0;$1\007"
    }
    btw
    Sure, that's easy enough.
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    You can use a package like home-dir
    Give me a second
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    Don't fret too much.
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    const homeDir = require("home-dir”);
    const props = require(homeDir(‘.hyper.js’));
    console.log(props.config.pokemon);
    This will get you the property /o
    sorry
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    thanks
    :P
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    No problem :)
    You can share it here if you’re willing to and you get it working! :D
    Would love to see it
    Derek Robati
    @drobati
    Sure, not sure if I will poke at it yet, since hyper doesn't seem to work with a lot of my other bash workflows yet. (Saw the pokemon repo and decided to spin it up today for the sake of fun)
    And I have to say A++ work
    Gabriel Tibúrcio
    @tibuurcio
    I see. Thanks for the awesome words! Hope you get it working!

    Yunindyo Prabowo

    arundilipan
    @arundilipan
    Hi guys, I had a question about hyper-pokemon!
    So i was wondering whether it was normal for hyper-pokemon to override the colors, and just show the one color associated with that pokemon?
