How I can add more features to APKEasy tool GUI ?? is there any open source for this GUI?
Any word on the next release update?
Hello. I would like to contribute with the project. Could you point me out where is the internal work at? Especially I would like to fix the problem of uncompiled code with try ... catch structures. Thank you.

Hey Guys, i tried to decompile and compile an app with apktool and i get lots of errors like
AndroidManifest.xml:43: error: No resource identifier found for attribute 'requestLegacyExternalStorage' in package 'android'

i tried the latest jar file of apk tool. Is there any plan when the apk tool is working?

I came here for something just as similar
AndroidManifest.xml:10: error: No resource identifier found for atribute 'isSplitRequired' in package 'android'
Someone seems to have got an almost identical error and posted it to issues
dev claims having fixed it in commit c206599, which seems to have been merged into master
would building a cloned project solve the issue?

Hi All,
I there any tool like Apktool to instrument .aab files? Appreciate your help
@binaryjerry ,
  1. you can decompile an apk using the apktool which generates a folder with .smali files of the respective java files placed inside the dex foler.
  2. You can generate a smali file of the code you want to add
  3. Copy in smali file in one of the dex folder( last dex folder is recommenced )
  4. repackage it using the apktool
hope that helps

anyone know about "compile error : 137" ?
"compile error : 137" - error occurred during compilation after decompiling apk file using apktool-2.4.0.jar.
"compile error : 137 "- The compile error was caused by insufficient memory. thanks all.....

Anyone interested in an opensource project?

Spec oriented development speeds up programming by generating code based on tests/specs. Tests required will be the same or less specs as a normal developer writes.

We have tested several apks and they failed on
libpng error: Not a PNG file
ERROR: Failure processing PNG image – {path to image}
In some of the cases it just jpeg file , and when you convert it to png format the packaging will succeed
Is it relevant to create push request with this fix?
