I assure you that I am not planning anything malicious
@psychoreactorq Permissions are carried over using app package name (e.g.: com.app.bladiebla)
Not using signing keys
I might have misunderstood your question, but permissions go by package name, not signing keys

Can anyone look into iBotPeaches/Apktool#2380 ?
It's really important
@iBotPeaches @FesterCluck
I've been trying to contact anyone over this, can any one have at least a look?

If anyone sees this, comment on the issue too so it doesn't get closed and more people will find out about it.

@nm17 "/system/framework/com.android.future.usb.accessory.jar" maybe that file is not being properly handled. Possibly encrypted or strangely packed into the APK. @nm17 "/system/framework/com.android.future.usb.accessory.jar" maybe that file is not being properly handled. Sorry, I was having trouble getting my message to send
https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/usb/accessory I think you need to add this to the libraries of apktool, @nm17
@nm17 please look at the framework section of this page, I'm not certain but I think possibly you are missing some APK files that are named in your error message https://ibotpeaches.github.io/Apktool/documentation/
Hello does this tool worked on a Xamarin apk?

hello everybody
I'm having a lot of problems trying to decompile an APK, edit the AndroidManifest.xml file to enable debugging, and then build the APK again
apktool doesn't throw any errors but it won't install the APK because it says that the AndroidManifest.xml is corrupt
Basically, I'm experiencing this issue iBotPeaches/Apktool#2374
Is this the right way to edit an app's AndroidManifest.xml? And is this really what I want to do to accomplish my end goal, which is to debug an app that is a release build downloaded off the play store?
root@kali:/usr/share# apktool b /sdcard/malicious/lite

Is there anybody who can solve this problem????🥺🥺🥺🥺

@umeshhamal-cpu please explain you problem a little bit
has anyone decompiled my spectrum app ?
When I decompile and compile (no changes) cinemaapk.com application it stays in the splash screen forever. I've tried using -r and and --copy-original with no luck. Any help?
is there a search feature in the room so i dont spam with already ansered question/?
yes Search button on the left side of the page
It seems like once upon a time, you could use Netbeans to debug smali code line by line. It seems like the last version to allow this was 6.8, though - is that the case? Are there any other ways of stepping through smali?
@umeshhamal-cpu : same problem with all amd64 devices with apktool 2.5.0 you can avoid this with no decompile or compile resources the code like this
"apktool d-r -s -o ", or use another framework compiled for 29: Android 10.0 (Q) to decompile apk, for compile apk " apktool b -c --use-aapt2 -o"

Hi , Can we use apktool for split apk's ?
hi , after I rebuild samsung one ui 3.0 SecSettings.apk . the apk is not work

I decompiled an APK with APKtool, and it recompiles again, and I can install it on my phone.
But when I try launching it, it crashes, error message:

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: dlopen failed: library "libc++_shared.so" not found

So im prtty sure I need to use the NDK to compile the APK, but how?
