Anyone interested in an opensource project?

Spec oriented development speeds up programming by generating code based on tests/specs. Tests required will be the same or less specs as a normal developer writes.

Hi
eyalken
@eyalken
We have tested several apks and they failed on
libpng error: Not a PNG file
ERROR: Failure processing PNG image – {path to image}
In some of the cases it just jpeg file , and when you convert it to png format the packaging will succeed
Is it relevant to create push request with this fix?
Thanks

I'm trying to chase down where a particular string is used. I unpacked the APK with apktool, and I found the string and its name in strings.xml, and I found the name and its hex ID in public.xml. I'm stuck here, though. The ID and string names don't appear in any of the other files
oh, geez, I guess I should've expected this place to not be very active, hehe

Is it ok to use APKtool within an Android app?
If so, is it possible to provide it an InputStream of the APK, instead of a path?
I want to parse APK files within ZIP files, and the Android framework doesn't have this functionality...

@The1nk
really stupid question - can you use apktool to decompile an app, then add x86 support to that app, and recompile it?
an app i'm trying to tinker with doesn't support x86 so it won't run on like a genymotion emulator
my crappy physical tinker android won't let me get RW on /system, so i'd rather go this route than acquiring a better device
Lucas Ramage
@oxr463
You might be able to try compiling as x86_64 once you have the sources

Hi
I have some issue with the version 2.4.1-dirty, i did't achieve to depack and repack with the aapt option
I have the same issue than this one : iBotPeaches/Apktool#2149
but there is no real answer, I can use the -f -r but in that case i cannot change xml files
a comment propose to use the -p option but i don't know how to use it. I think I have the righ to write on tmp ecause I use the root account
