    Hey there. Has anyone else experienced a drastic performance difference between portrait and landscape modes? I get much smoother performance in landscape mode on my iPhone XR on iOS 12.3.1 - iNDS version 1.10.3. In portrait mode itโ€™s like everything is rendering at 2/3rds speed. Itโ€™s very strange.
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    I havenโ€™t tried but I can check it out. It could be because in landscape a smaller picture is rendered, perhaps the update mechanism is inefficient.
    PkmnTrnrGary
    @PkmnTrnrGary
    Thanks, I did try reducing window size in portrait mode to as small as landscape, but encountered the same results.

    @PkmnTrnrGary
    I also used two games to be sure it wasnโ€™t rom specific. The issue was present on both Dragon Quest IX and Zelda - The Phantom Hourglass. If a screen cap would be useful at all please let me know.

    Alright

    @PkmnTrnrGary
    Hey again - The issue I referenced previously with the landscape vs portrait mode emulation speed difference can be subverted simply by tilting to switch to landscape orientation, then back to portrait. After this, emulation will continue at full speed in portrait orientation. It's a very strange workaround, but one nonetheless.

    @FrederickGeek8 I read in a post from a user who explained to you the problem of saving from dropbox to the Inds emulator? considering that lately the certificates on ios devices do not last long, in order not to risk to always lose the data (currently I synchronize them on droppbox) how is it possible to transfer them to inds? Has a solution to that problem been raised? because as soon as I install iNds again he charges me nothing even having it synchronized with dropbox, so I should always start again. I await your info
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    @dami93c The Dropbox sync function in iNDS should work fine. Note that Dropbox sync does not sync ROMs, only save files. So each time you will need to transfer the ROMs yourself. The issue that the other user encountered was because they did not transfer the correct ROM for the save file.
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    @FrederickGeek8 and therefore how is it possible to transfer a rescue to an emulator and resume from there? I speak specifically of pokemon soul Silver, doing "export" tells me invalid extension.
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    Yes. But I believe you can only use in-game saves and not save states (though my memory could be wrong). I wrote a wiki post about transferring saves here: https://github.com/iNDS-Team/iNDS/wiki/Transferring-Saves-to-DeSmuME
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    @FrederickGeek8 to begin unloading inds, that is exporting the rom that I want, having done this I am without any saving, although having saved them on the dropbox, practically exporting the rom does not transfer rescues but only the rom itself, so I still have the save .dsv file to transfer but fecendo exporta tells me an extension unkempt :(
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    @FrederickGeek8 just to be precise, I only tried using the device, I didn't use the PC, if it were possible I would try even from there. advise me

    @dami93c
    Thanks for Support @FrederickGeek8 my problem is very simple the certificates are often revoked, so every time I have to install iNDS again, but I don't want to always start from scratch, so I want to transfer my saves that I have on Dropbox into the virgin rom that I install from time to time, that's all. but I don't know what procedure to follow, consider that I have all my bailouts on Dropbox I just have to transfer them but I don't know how :(
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    Have you enabled Dropbox Sync in iNDS Settings?
    Saves will be saved to Dropbox in the folder Apps/iNDS/
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    Yes of course
    I have any saves
    how can I insert them in the rom?
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    If you have saves with the same name as the ROM (indicating that it came from that ROM) and you place it in the Dropbox folder, it will automatically insert into the game
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    I downloaded inds again, activated dropbox synchronization, and now export the correct rom? the Roma is a virgin though
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    If I understand you correctly, then yes.
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    the files are correctly saved on the app / inds but they are not transferred to the rom when I do the synchronization, it just tells me that it went well but does not transport me anything on inds :(
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    Make sure that:
    1. Your ROM has the same name as your dsv files
    2. Your dsv files are in the Apps/iNDS/ folder
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    actually doing the synchronization does not transport me anything, it just says that it is sent to end bukn. I have to be the do "export" from dropbox to inds and then the Roma transfers me, but obviously no saving :(
    Yes has the same name, yes are in the correct folder
    Is there another way to transfer data? maybe from pc?
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    Yes there is. In iTunes, you can drag the Battery folder containing your saves from your PC to your device, overwriting the folder there
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    could you explain the process in detail? obviously I mean only the passage of the files saving in the rom through the PC I would be grateful!
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    Take your save files and put then in a folder called Battery. Then follow the Apple guide that I sent and drag and drop the entire folder into the iNDS File Sharing. That guide explains how to access File Sharing in iTunes
    dami93c
    @dami93c
    later i try from pc, I hope to do it :)
    Then i โ€˜ll write you ;)

    hello @FrederickGeek8. I have a similar problem as on this chat: iNDS-Team/iNDS#126.
    when I open inds it fails to sync. however, inds creates ("exports") the save files in dropbox, it just does not "import" them. So I cannot access the files that exist in my dropbox.
    inds version 1.10.3 downloaded from ignition.
    ios version 13.1. on iphone xr
    would really appreciate your help
    Frederick Morlock
    @FrederickGeek8
    I am aware of the issue and am trying to fix it. It appears to be a Dropbox issue, though Iโ€™m not sure. Iโ€™ll keep that issue up-to-date with any progress.

    @manuelanger
