    Does anyone have any info on how to embed html code from http://postcodes.io/ into squarespace?

    @cblanc
    Hi there
    What kind of functionality are you trying to achieve

    Hi, we are using postcodes.io and last night we did a performance test where it seems like postcodes.io may have blacklisted our ip address and now we cant get any traffic through
    Christopher Blanchard
    @cblanc
    Hey there, I’ll take a look
    It’s likely cloudflare have blocked your IP after seeing the traffic
    Could you share the response code / error you’re seeing? Or just timeouts?

    Hi, when searching for addresses using lookupPostcode() flats are not returned - when using https://ideal-postcodes.co.uk/postcode-lookup the flats are returned (try n33sn)
    what endpoint or library method should we be using to return all addresses?
    Christopher Blanchard
    @cblanc
    Hi there
    There are 8 addresses in that postcode which live in a separate dataset called Multiple Residence https://ideal-postcodes.co.uk/guides/multiple-residence
    You can use the guide to find out if you really need this dataset. If you do, we can migrate your key(s) for you if you drop a message into the chat widget in your dashboard

    @tobydeh
    Ok that makes sense, thank you
    yes we need the dataset, ill send a message

    When using lookupAddress() are the postcodes space sensitive? For example lookupAddress({ client, query: '1 Oak Bank FK2 9RP' }) returns the address we are looking for lookupAddress({ client, query: '1 Oak Bank FK29RP' }) does not return any addresses with that postcode
    we are trying to clean and sanitise some address data - what is the correct api to use? (the postcodes do not contain spaces)
    using filters in the query dont seems to work either
    tobydeh
    @tobydeh
    This seems to do the trick...
    addresses.list(client, { query: {
          api_key,
          postcode: profile.postCode,
          q: profile.address
        } });
    Christopher Blanchard
    @cblanc
    That’s the way to do it - the postcode filter will only return results on the matching set

    Hi
    I am looking for the legacy ONS code -it is supposed to be a 4 char code that looks like 00BK etc
    any idea where I can find that please?
    Christopher Blanchard
    @cblanc
    Hi again
    Neither Ideal Postcodes nor Postcodes.io provides these legacy codes
    You may be able to find lookup tables for the current GSS codes from postcodes.io to the legacy ones

    @the-g-kd
    Thank you
