@mirshko
@condolent Just declare two instances of the slider with different handles!
jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
    $('.customer-slider').unslider({
        autoplay: true,
        delay: 8000,
        nav: true,
        infinite: true,
        arrows: {
            prev: '<a class="hide-on-med-and-down btn-floating btn-large slightly-transparent waves-effect waves-light unslider-arrow prev"><i class="material-icons left-arrow-fix down-arrow-fix-alt">keyboard_arrow_left</i></a>',
            next: '<a class="hide-on-med-and-down btn-floating btn-large slightly-transparent waves-effect waves-light unslider-arrow next"><i class="material-icons left-arrow-fix down-arrow-fix-alt">keyboard_arrow_right</i></a>'
        }
    });
    $('.testimonial-slider').unslider({
        autoplay: true,
        delay: 8000,
        nav: true,
        infinite: true,
        arrows: {
            prev: '<a class="hide-on-med-and-down btn-floating btn-large white waves-effect unslider-arrow prev"><i class="material-icons left-arrow-fix down-arrow-fix-alt black-text">keyboard_arrow_left</i></a>',
            next: '<a class="hide-on-med-and-down btn-floating btn-large white waves-effect unslider-arrow next"><i class="material-icons left-arrow-fix down-arrow-fix-alt black-text">keyboard_arrow_right</i></a>'
        }
    });
});

@condolent
@mirshko Yeah I tried that aswell, but it's the dots that I need to change the classes of. So $('.slide1') uses one class of the dots and $('.slide2') use another class for the dots
Jeff Reiner
@mirshko
make the class name of the slider override the styles of the dots
so like .slider-1 .dots does X and .slider-2 .dots does Y
make sense?
@condolent
that should work
Jonathan Öhrström
@condolent
@mirshko you're talking about making those changes inside the unslider-min.js right?
Jeff Reiner
@mirshko
nah inside custom css
wait
do you need the styles to change? or the functionality to change with the dots
Jonathan Öhrström
@condolent
The styles. I specifically need to change the CSS top parameter
Jeff Reiner
@mirshko
The add some styles to another style sheet and target whatever the classes that the dots are called with and then target them with the class that you are calling your sliders with
Jonathan Öhrström
@condolent
I tried this before and it was easier to plan than actually doing, didn't manage to get it working
Jeff Reiner
@mirshko
@condolent How can I help?
Okay so basically it seems what you're gonna have to do is
add a wrapper div around your slider because the activating class to init your slider does not contain the nested dots classes
so
<div class="sliderOneWrapper">
    <div class="myUnsliderClass">...</div>
    <div class="unslider-nav">...</div>
</div>
<div class="sliderTwoWrapper">
    <div class="myUnsliderClass">...</div>
    <div class="unslider-nav">...</div>
</div>
for your html
Jeff Reiner
@mirshko
.sliderOneWrapper .unslider-nav {
    top: 0;
}
.sliderTwoWrapper .unslider-nav {
    top: 24;
}
Jeff Reiner
@mirshko
Does that help?
Jonathan Öhrström
@condolent
@mirshko Oh yeah! Thank you so so so much!!
Jeff Reiner
@mirshko
@condolent Happy to help! :D

I just want to know if this is possible?
  • Fix the carousel effect so it does not go back. IT shows to the Left / Right always
A client asked me to do that
You know, when it finish it returns to the first item from right to left
The client wants it always left to right
with unslider

@ricardojriosr_twitter
Hi I did something like that, but to reorder the items
randomize them
$.fn.randomize = function(selector){
var $elems = selector ? $(this).find(selector) : $(this).children(),
$parents = $elems.parent();
    $parents.each(function(){
        $(this).children(selector).sort(function(){
            return Math.round(Math.random()) - 0.5;
        }).detach().appendTo(this);
    });

    return this;
};
$(function () {
    $(".unslider").each(function(i, obj) {
        var first_round = $(obj).children().children().children().last();
        first_round.on('classChanged', function() {
            if (!$(this).hasClass('unslider-active')) {
                var unslider_ul = $(obj).children().children().randomize();
            }
        });
    });

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to have slides fade in and out rather than cross fade? Thanks in advance!

So... Is this project dead? The repository seems to have been taken down.
