@rsoika
@lodhipr can you post your code example on github? It is easier for me if we can discuss a concrete example.

@rsoika sir security issue is reloved but now i am getting this error
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
This looks like something with your persistence.xml or datapool is not correct. can you post your persistance.xml on gihub?
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
do i need to add any dependency in pom.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<persistence version="1.0" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence">

<!-- Imixs JPA definition Make sure that the imixs-workflow-jee library version maches the version provided by the EAR/EJB -->

<!-- eclipselink -->
<persistence-unit name="org.imixs.workflow.jpa" transaction-type="JTA">
<provider>org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.PersistenceProvider</provider>
<jta-data-source>jdbc/workflow</jta-data-source>
<jar-file>lib/imixs-workflow-engine-${org.imixs.workflow.version}.jar</jar-file>
<properties>
<!-- target-database Auto MySQL PostgreSQL -->
<property name="eclipselink.target-database" value="Auto" />
<property name="eclipselink.ddl-generation" value="create-tables" />
<property name="eclipselink.deploy-on-startup" value="true" />
<property name="eclipselink.logging.level" value="INFO" />

<!-- disable 2nd level cache <property name="eclipselink.cache.shared.default" value="false" /> <property name="eclipselink.query-results-cache" value="false"/> -->
</properties>
</persistence-unit>

</persistence>

Ralph Soika
@rsoika
@95pratik no dependencies are not needed, just make sure you can ping the database
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
@rsoika this is my persistence.xml
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
@95pratik persistence.xml looks fine. Do you have the property 'org.imixs.workflow.version' defined in your pom.xml? If not you need to place the version number here.
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
yes sir
@rsoika <dependency>
<groupId>org.imixs.workflow</groupId>
<artifactId>imixs-workflow-engine</artifactId>
<version>${org.imixs.workflow.version}</version>
</dependency>
    <dependency>
        <groupId>org.imixs.workflow</groupId>
        <artifactId>imixs-workflow-jax-rs</artifactId>
        <version>${org.imixs.workflow.version}</version>
    </dependency>

    <dependency>
        <groupId>org.imixs.workflow</groupId>
        <artifactId>imixs-workflow-faces</artifactId>
        <version>${org.imixs.workflow.version}</version>

I'm in a meeting for a moment. Am back in an hour.
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik

okay sir

thanks for suppoort

waiting for your response

Ralph Soika
@rsoika
@95pratik ok your persistence.xml and pom is fine. So I guess there is something with the database. Can you ping the database from your jboss web console?
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
sir i have tested with database connection and its saying successfull
@rsoika sir , can i send my standalone.xml
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
@95pratik what is more important is the log file. You only posted the message "Table 'imixs.document' doesn't exist". But during deployment of your application there must be much more information about what exactly happens.
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
sir since log file is quite large How can i upload here??
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
please open an issue in github here. And yes -we do not need the complete log file. Just the part when you start deploying your application.
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
@rsoika sir jst uploaded the server log please have a look on it
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik

@rsoika
okay sir

thanks for suppoort

Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
sir uploaded the stabdalone.xml on same url @rsoika
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
@rsoika sir application is deployed successfully but only imixs-jsf-example.war is visible please tell me sir where its rest of the pages??
lodhipr
@lodhipr
@rsoika : Thanks for your reply, my query is solved, but now can you please provide me a sample controller design which can retrieve data from more than one table from the database tables.
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
@lodhipr One solution is to simply add custom fields into the existing workflow controller like in the sub_main.xhtml example page. This will store the data directly into the workflow instance controlled by Imixs-Workflow.
@lodhipr The other solution is to implement a Plugin. A plugin is a function block added to your bpmn model and triggered by the workflow engine.
@lodhipr And of course you can write your own controller to store any kind of data in any kind of data source. See the CDI Events fired by the workflowService.
lodhipr
@lodhipr
@rsoika :Thanks for your Support Sir,
As you have given way of data saving can you please provide me different techniques of data retrieving from different tables from the database.
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
@lodhipr As explained, you can store business data in a process-instance or into a separate table/database. For the later you choose the technique you like because this is than not part of imixs-workflow. You can use JPA for example.
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
@rsoika sir please help me to get the login screen imixs/imixs-jsf-example#31
lodhipr
@lodhipr
@rsoika : ok sir thanks for your support.

@lodhipr
@rsoika : sir i need your help i am new with this software package , currently my all data are stored in one table as Document in mysql, but now i want that it should move concurrently in different tables in mysql which stores all the records in itself
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik

@rsoika I am not able to upload the ticket.bpmn in jboss
when I am accessing this url ttp://localhost:8080/workflow/rest-service/model/
ERROR -NOT FOUND
when I am trying to upload a ticket using curl command
curl --user admin:adminpassword --request POST -Tticket.bpmn http://localhost:8080/workflow/rest-service/model/bpmn

I am getting an error like

<html><head><title>Error</title></head><body>HTTP method POST is not supported by this URL</body></html>

please help regarding this

thank you

Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
please confirm in order to upload the ticket.bpmn do we need to also deploy the imixs admin client as well??
Pooja Gupta
@Pooja-gupta1995
The ACL of a WorkItem is defined in three different layers. The ‘Owner’ defines the users assigned to the WorkItem for the next Workflow Task.
can you further explain about ownership of a user?
like what type of authorization should be provided to the owner?
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
@95pratik the imixs admin client is not needed to upload a model
@Pooja-gupta1995 users in general should have only org.imixs.ACCESSLEVEL.AUTHORACCESS. Use the Owner plugin just to assign a task to a specific participant.
Pratik Kumar
@95pratik
@rsoika okay sir thank you for your reply..I am trying to figure out something hope it will work
lodhipr
@lodhipr
@rsoika : sir i need your help i am new with this software package , currently my all data are stored in one table as Document in mysql, but now i want that it should move concurrently in different tables in mysql which stores all the records in itself . Request for help please help me in resolving this query. I uses TomeePlus with my sql for data communication.
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
Note, you are developing a Java EE application. You can use for example JPA. There is absolutely no restriction. If you want to synchronize your data flow with your process flow than you can make use of the Imixs Plugin API. If you want to store data in a Database just do it.
Pooja Gupta
@Pooja-gupta1995
@rsoika can we rename global.properties file?
what are the changes then we have to made?
lodhipr
@lodhipr
@rsoika: Sir I have studied the provided document, but I don't get the mechanism please provide me a full descriptions of steps or process which I would follow to executes the data entry in my own database tables.
Pooja Gupta
@Pooja-gupta1995
@rsoika sir i have multiple swimlanes in my bpmn so what if i have given manager access to my login user and for some particular task i have ACL property to read only,
then which property will override?
lodhipr
@lodhipr
@rsoika : Sir i have designed one controller which can get data from tables directly. Please provide me a feedback does it work or not.
public class OWNController implements Serializable {
private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;

@EJB
DocumentService documentSerivce;

public void init() {
    super.init();
    this.setQuery("<YOUR QUERY>");

    List<ItemCollection> col= documentSerivce.getDocumentsByQuery(query);

    for (ItemCollection aworkitem : col) {
        String sName = aworkitem.getItemValueString("<COLUMN NAME>");
        String sID = aworkitem.getItemValueString("<COLUMN ID");
        teamSelection.add(new SelectItem(sID, sName));
    }

        return teamSelection;
}

@Pooja-gupta1995
@rsoika i am making my own BPMN and trying to connect my task with my jSF pages, so where should i mention that?
currently i am doing in (my task)->Application properties ->input form->Screen1.xhtml
is it right?
Ralph Soika
@rsoika
@rsoika can we rename global.properties file?
what are the changes then we have to made?
Yes of course. It's just a JSF sample application.
