You should join the slack channel. There are a lot more people in there and they are more active.

Hi All, hope your well; would anyone be able to help me get moneyd on the livenet
rslater12
@rslater12
Hi @ma06rii1_twitter what connector are you trying to connect to?
ma06rii
@ma06rii1_twitter
Hi @rslater12 , I tried 'ilsp1.phobosnode.com/moneyd', but I think the issue is that there are no livenet wallets supporting interledger
Kev King
@KevinKing64_twitter
Ah, @ma06rii1_twitter phobosnode has been renamed if I remember rightly. Now is solstice banner. Try ilsp1.solstice.io
All services with phobosnode have been altered and rebranded
Not at my pc, will check correct name later

Thanks @KevinKing64_twitter , I appreciate it, you're a top guy; Is there a specific XRP hotwallet service you would recommending using?
rslater12
@rslater12
Thank you @KevinKing64_twitter, @ma06rii1_twitter are you wanting a wallet to send funds to? have you tried running your own payment pointer with ilp-spsp-server? I think all the wallet/payment pointers that are public (tipbot, gatehub) are on a closed network? but iv been away for a while so this may have changed? maybe someone else can confirm this for me.
Kev King
@KevinKing64_twitter
@ma06rii1_twitter the actual new address for ilsp1.phobosnode.com is now ilsp1.solsticehub.io or try ilsp2.solsticehub.io
I cant really recommend any hot wallets, dont use them directly. But I use theworldexchange.net very easy interface, and wirex, nexo or revolt too. Exchange wise I have narrowed my options down to bitrue and coinfield.
you might want to join interledger.slack.com this option is very rarely visited these days :(

Hey All! Is there some blog / resource which shows off what people are building with ILP? All I am aware of is Coil
Miller Abel
@millerabel
@dennis, I’m not aware of a directory or blog, however, we are building an open source payment clearing and settlement system around ILP. See Mojaloop.io

I would like to understand more about nodes that serve as routers. Who owns or deploys these nodes? Are they managed the way DNS servers all over the world are?

Hi all, I am working on an app where I can have multiple wallets with like USD, SGD, BTC, ETH, XRP where I will be able to pay anyone with any currency and they will be able to receive in their preferred currency. However I still do no understand how am I supposed to connect to interledger to do so. Am I supposed to have my own sever or can I just use a connector. If I can use a connector how do I add that to my app instead of using something moneyd as most of the tutorials I can find states you need moneyd run and it is mostly xrp usd pair
RaynerLim
@RaynerLim
Is there anyone around????
Is there a way to directly use interledger without moneyd?
as moneyd only supports xrp for now it seems I need USD to BTC, USD to ETH, USD to XRP, SGD to BTC, SGD to ETH, etc as well as the other way round
basically I want to select any pair I want and do the transaction
Trestioreanu Lucian Andrei
@treisto
you can run an ILP connector yourself, and interact with it programatically
Trestioreanu Lucian Andrei
@treisto
you can also attach to it moneyd GUI - to the node.js connector, I mean
but different connectors have different possibilities implemented concerning settlement
RaynerLim
@RaynerLim
@treisto Thank you for your response. So am I right to say that I just need a connector and find an open ilp server to connect to?
Trestioreanu Lucian Andrei
@treisto
From a technical point of view, you can run a connector. In production, on the live ILP network, from a legal and practical, "business" point of view - not sure. I presume yes, if you run it on your behalf as an end user, but not sure. You need to find an ILP "point of entry" to accept your connection. Moneyd has a "user" connection type where it "dials-up" to an ILP connector to connect as a customer. I don'r remember for sure if the ILP connector can be set up to act like that. Normally the ILP connectors are establishing a different type of connection where the relation is b2b.
Trestioreanu Lucian Andrei
@treisto
Also, I know there was an app "Switch" by Kava Labs which can swap pairs of crypto.
RaynerLim
@RaynerLim
I see. Yes I have taken a look at the switch up but for now it only confuses me more.
Thank you will still how to work it out on the coding end
Trestioreanu Lucian Andrei
@treisto
Welcome. Somewhere in Moneyd you can find the details of the connectors it was set to connect to by default I think. You may try and use that info - if it's still of actuality, that is.
RaynerLim
@RaynerLim
Great. Will review that as well
RaynerLim
@RaynerLim
So Moneyd uses ilp-plugin-mini-accounts but what exactly does it do. I do not understand what exactly it does
RaynerLim
@RaynerLim
Seriously does anyone have a working javascript example of sending a payment? I cannot seem to get anything to work
