Developers almost always have dev, production servers...

makes sense to me. having pages being up-/downloaded with the theme files is a little dangerous imho and am happy with a separate command for that (and other options like “clone” or whatever). Same goes for the other aspects: products, linklists, articles(!) I like the way you think

The theme tool just needed one more degree of separation...
adding qs theme ads one more layer of context for me to work with.

fair enough, they live in a separate context within shopify so, yeah

It also makes qs more than a theme tool.

@internalfx + @rickydazla agree with keeping it all separate — it’ll make it even a more robust tool down the road. when we do a breaking-change version update I would imagine it won’t be too hard for people to change their ways.

@/all Quickshot 0.10.0 is published on NPM....but before you upgrade!
the project directory structure has changed...
everything was in one folder before
now it looks like this....
project
- pages
- theme
- - assets
- - config
- - layout
- - snippets
- - templates
- quickshot.json
This keeps theme file separate
files*
and also mirrors the new commands
There are no real new features with this release
But it paves the way for the requested enhancements
