I dont see anything about having multiple targets, or supporting multiple stores.
I think they fill different roles..

I think the technical debt was too high....
I think there are 2 factors preventing this...
- Maintaining two platforms is incredibly hard, and bugs/differences will happen. (works in vision, breaks in Shopify)
- Internet is only becoming more prolific, reducing the need for it entirely

I would use Timber and call it a day
