Cybnate
@Cybnate
have SSL cert installed, Cloudflare running and nginx running happily.
However
Nubot doesn't play nice
I've added the nbt2 certificate to the keystore, but it appears not to work. Getting the following issue:
17:01:49.186 [main] ERROR - javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target [c.n.n.A.ALPService:368]
17:01:49.191 [main] ERROR - Cannot register with ALP
exchange: bittrex
poolURI: https://nbt2.liquidbits.net:443/
Do I need to load the entire certificate chain into the Keystore?
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
Evening Cybnate. How did you obtain the certificate? If it was through a browser it should contain the whole chain. It's definitely a certificate error though.
Cybnate
@Cybnate
Via a CA after a csr request
I have the server.crt and a bundle with all the root certs. Do I need them all into the keystore?
I've only loaded the server.crt into the keystore as that is how it is done with the others
Should I make just one file with all the certs?
and then import into keystore
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
When loading certs for a new exchange I always used to download the cert from the website through my browser. That would have been the full chain so I assume it does require the full chain if it's not working for you with just the end certificate.
If you make one file with all the certs the order is important.
Is it already active on the site?
Probably easier to download through the browser as I know that that works.
Cybnate
@Cybnate
It is not about an exchange, it is about adding the liquidbits server. You must have followed the same path with nupool. I can see the cert
I think I know what the problem is. It is because of Cloudflare. They have their certificate in front of my website. Will try loading that into the keystore. This is such a puzzle!
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
Ah yeah, I realised it was for the liquidbits server but the method would remain the same. Hitting the server through a browser will give you the cert chain that is needed for NuBot.
Cybnate
@Cybnate
The browser tip did it. It showed the Cloudflare certificate. I'm now loading it into the keystore. Thanks for the hint.
Ok, loaded in store. Problem fixed! How do I get my certificate into the 'official' nubot store? The command prompt procedure I have to follow is not for the faint at heart :-) Don't want to bother others with that. Is Desrever updating that file?
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
It's up to desrever yes. I haven't heard from him for a while now. Last time we spoke he was busy with a new Android crypto wallet (not NuBits as far as I know) . Not sure where he is with that. Worth pinging him.
Cybnate
@Cybnate
@desrever-nu We have the birth of another ALPv2 server imminent and we need you to add the birth certificate to the keystore of NuBot :-)
Its name will be nbt2.liquidbits.net
Cybnate
@Cybnate
What to do with errors in the NuBot logs or weird issues. Should I log them here or else, or do we have a thread on discuss.nubits.com?
Weird issue 1: each amount is halved and than 2 orders are placed? Is that a setting I'm overlooking?
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
Thats expected. The amount is split in two so that when orders are moved due to a price change, the two halves can be moved independently so that there is always some funds on the book. It harks back to when huge amounts of liquidity were on the books. Services like shapeshift were complaining that there were occasions when there was no liquidity. This aimed to solve that.
Cybnate
@Cybnate
Right, that is good to know. Not very useful on the USD/NBT pair I'm testing now :-) Is there an override parameter?
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
Not sure from memory I'm afraid.
Cybnate
@Cybnate
Also have an [ALPtask] Error - Error from alpManager.submitopenorderrequest: apierror [-1: "Invalid Sign" [c.n.n.t.ALPTask:124]
It follows with String cannot be cast to org.json.simple.JSONObject
That's from the NuBot output
Has that to do that NuBot doesn't recognise USNBT properly. It does place the orders though
Desrever
@desrever-nu
Hey there!
Whatsupp?
Cybnate
@Cybnate
@desrever-nu We have the birth of another ALPv2 server imminent and we need you to add the birth certificate to the keystore of NuBot :smile:
Its name will be nbt2.liquidbits.net
What is the process?
Server is up and running
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
Hi @desrever-nu . Good to see you :)
@Cybnate The ALPTask error looks like the alp software is hitting an error when checking the open orders.
any error the alp hits is apassed via the api to NuBot
is this CCEDK that you are operating on?
is the ALP software the very latest version? I did tweak the CCEDK wrapper a little while ago.
Cybnate
@Cybnate
Yes, ccedk. Have a version from two weeks old or so. Can recall you asked me to update after you made those updates, so it should be good, unless you did very recent updates
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
no nothing recent. I'll have to have a play later and see what's changed
Desrever
@desrever-nu
hey guys
I am looking now at 1) hitbtc ssl certificates 2) price streamer
Desrever
@desrever-nu
hopefully fixed both!
inuitwallet
@inuitwallet
Fantastic. Thank you @desrever-nu. It may be worth me getting some access details for the streamer from you so I can give it a kick if it needs one.
Cybnate
@Cybnate
Any hope to have the nb2.liquidbits.net certificate added to the store?
