@tiborsimko I did a "docker pull tiborsimko/invenio:1.0.8". Are there any instructions about how to proceed after that?

@bigyan Invenio v1.0.x release series is very old, you may want to try Invenio v1.2.x release series instead. Here is how to get the demo site up and running:
$ docker pull tiborsimko/invenio:1.2.0
$ docker run -d -p 80:80 -p 443:443 tiborsimko/invenio:1.2.0
$ firefox http://0.0.0.0/

@tiborsimko thanks. I'll try that... What is port 443 used for?

Secure login and communications (HTTPS). Basically, the image emulates production setup, as it were. This is why MySQL and friends are bundled to run in the same container too, so that we could test old OS versions with their old MySQL versions that Invenio v1.2.x is deemed to support.

I'll give it a spin and report back.

BTW regarding the motivation behind running multiples processes inside the same container, to test dockerless production like setups, you may read this blog post of mine: http://tiborsimko.org/docker-running-multiple-processes.html
