@tiborsimko the docker container is running and I can access the invenio website. However looks like supervisord has some problem running redis-server (trying to run multiple instances perhaps?).
bigyan@be:~$ docker run -p 80:80 -p 443:443 tiborsimko/invenio:1.2.0
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/supervisor/options.py:296: UserWarning: Supervisord is running as root and it is searching for its configuration file in default locations (including its current working directory); you probably want to specify a "-c" argument specifying an absolute path to a configuration file for improved security.

@tiborsimko ...I however have an entirely different problem. There seems to be no 'inveniomanage' command and I cannot follow the documentation given at http://invenio.readthedocs.org/en/latest/ on this system. What does the docker container contain. I'm a beginner and am very confused.

@bigyan You mentioned wanting to test v1.x. There is documentation included with your installation, e.g. http://0.0.0.0/help/admin/ and http://0.0.0.0/help/hacking/
If you want to test v2.x (which brings inveniomanage command), then you need to install it differently, see http://invenio.readthedocs.org/en/latest/installation/installation-quick.html

hello, using py.test (as set up by invenio-cookiecutter) i'm attemping to write some integration tests. this means that imports to invenio.config need to resolve. however i only get ImportErrors so far. what is the way to get the context to load before my test runs?

@jacquerie my import is actually indirect (ends up invoking code under invenio-search). you prompted me to try using the app fixture like so with app.app_context():, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to make any difference.

you can check the “new” way of doing this, maybe it helps https://github.com/inveniosoftware/invenio-records/tree/next/tests

@egabancho i see with app.app_context() in use here. am i missing something else perhaps?

@jacquerie did you try with invenio-testing?
or @dset0x

@greut invenio-testing's InvenioTestCase means that i will have to be running my tests in unittest mode, which breaks pytest fixtures. at least last time i checked it did.

i tried with InvenioTestCase just now since i'm out of options and low on time, but now i'm back to "TypeError: object() takes no parameters", referring to db.Integer
