    The reason it is in the user object returned by /rest/auth is that the array is the companies which that user has administrative access over, as opposed to every company on the system
    We might not want every company to be involved in this call recording festival, so by setting up a 'fmc-polling' user with cut-down permissions, we can give it PBX permissions over a select few companies, and use that list to decide which companies to poll for recordings
    BASICALLY just do a /rest/auth with the key above and you'll see an array of companies in the response

    @RobStallion
    Nice. I'll stick that info in the issue
    Thanks a lot

    @RobStallion
    Hey @davies147 . We are still having a little issue with #82.
    Would you be able to take a quick look at it for us please?
    also @bengesoff and @peterw8102
    thanks
    Robert Francis
    @RobStallion
    hi @davies147. I got your first response asking which compnay we were putting in but I haven't had anything since. I just wanted to check and see if you responsed again as you said that you were using email

    Hi all, for the purposes of rationalising API key(s) in use, can I suggest using an API key of 'i7e6i7ebtkueyb5fqi347wfrtuwk' for this project. It associates with the 'FMC Polling' use in the default company, and has access to both 'default' and 'testcompany' companies. It has rights to call-recording-lists, call-rec file downloads and to extension numbers.

    We should probably remove the extraneous users of 'FAC Admin', 'Login Name' and 'FAC Admin2' from the system once all other API keys have been purged.

    Happy to remove them - just let me know that you're happy that the new key does everything OK :)

    Hi all, I'm coming down to London tomorrow. I'm going to spend the morning with the CM team and then the afternoon with your team (which I think is just 2 of you this week).
    Peter Wilson
    @peterw8102
    It would be great to get a demo of anything you have running tomorrow afternoon as well :)

    @peterw8102
    Hi everyone. I'm coming down tomorrow so let me know if you need anything in particular from me. It's getting toward the end of the project now so I'd like to see as much as possible working. Rob and I are intending on coming down Wednesday next week for an end of project round up.
    I'm just working my way through the code at the moment. I think I'll post an 'issue' with questions it would be good to work through.
    Robert Francis
    @RobStallion
    Hi @peterw8102. We will have a look through the issues and add/change what we can
    Peter Wilson
    @peterw8102
    Thanks Rob, we can talk over tomorrow. Priorities are to make sure what you have is documented so development can continue and that the basic model is robust. Some of my issues will be FYI for later.
    Robert Francis
    @RobStallion
    Thanks a lot Peter. We'll keep an eye out for them. See you tomorrow

    @RobStallion
    Hey guys. We are having an issue with one of the API calls. Could you please take a look at issue #171 for us
    Thanks

    Updated the ticket. hope that helps.

    @davies147. Hey Steve. Just added another comment on the ticket. Could you take a quick look for us please
    Thanks

    Hi Guys, just trying to run up the latest code. The instructions are a lot better now :-) how do I run the poller though?
    Robert Francis
    @RobStallion
    Oh we will add that into the readme but till then it is ...
    node polling/index.js
    just run that command in your terminal and it will run the polling functionallity
    you will need to create a SAVE_FILE_PATH in your config.env file if you want to save the audio
    Peter Wilson
    @peterw8102
    That's what I thought but when I run that command it returns very quickly with no debug output and there's nothing in the database. I'll check to see whether I'm doing anything odd.
    Peter Wilson
    @peterw8102
    Would it be useful for me to come down tomorrow?
    Rob and I are coming down Wednesday for the end of project handover/debrief.
    Robert Francis
    @RobStallion
    Yeah I think that could only be helpful
    Peter Wilson
    @peterw8102
    I'm trying to use the poller. Having some success! I can't find any code other than 'checkCompaniesTable' that puts companies into the appropriate database table. That function doesn't seem to be called though. Instead getCompany_id() fails because the company isn't in the table.
    Peter Wilson
    @peterw8102
    As long as I manually add the companies into the company table though the rest of the poller seems to work well :)
    Peter Wilson
    @peterw8102
    @RobStallion and @eleanorreem looking forward to seeing you at Bletchley tomorrow. When you get here and sign in give me a call and I'll come and find you. There are directions at the end of the following page: https://www.ipcortex.co.uk/contact.rhtm/main
    I think it would be useful to go over the scope for this stage of the project and then spend a good chunk of time looking at the updates to the poller.
    Steve Davies
    @davies147
    I am upgrading the fac1.ipcortex.net unit to the latest software image this evening. Let me know if you encounter issues tomorrow.
    Peter Wilson
    @peterw8102
    @RobStallion and @eleanorreem - what is the 'done' parameter to functions in getIds.js/chackTable.js? The UI doesn't pass that across at the moment so I can run the web interface. The UI is also still calling getCompany_id which has been commented out.

    Hey guys! could i possibly have a username for the call finder that has some calls on it? thanks!
    (and the password :D)
    Jamie Knight
    @jamiek23
    Would have helped if I'd posted that I've run it up on a server here in the right chat room :)
    Managed to get it more or less working with the help of @peterw8102
    Two issues so far - polling script isn't mentioned anywhere, plus calls don't seem to streamed through node properly
    I'll dig into the code and see what's happening, but in the mean time - did you want me to raise a couple of github issues?
    Jamie Knight
    @jamiek23
    I submitted a two issues and pull requests - didn't want to merge into master until you guys saw it :)

    @RobStallion
    Hi. Sorry for the extremely delayed reply on this. For some strange reason both Ellie and I have lost this room on our computers so we assumed it had been closed. I've just downloaded the Gitter app on my phone and seen that it still exists. We just thought that we should message to let you know why we both hadn't replied. Sorry for any inconvenience caused
