the notebook metadata editor has a codemirror instance, but there's no easy way to change the theme. I was going to introduce a cm_default variable, like code cells have, so that CodeMirror settings can be customized. Any thoughts on this?
jdfreder @jdfreder is catching up on a lot of msgs

BTW, is there any way to executed some script when the notebook server starts up? Because the files inside the startup folder is only executed when I start a kernel (open an specific ipynb) @takluyver@minrk
is there a way to determine which traits in a HasTraits class are defined in the current class, and which are inherited? I'm looking into having sphinx generate docs for widgets, but there isn't a lot of infrastructure for that.
