I'm using ipython inside tmux/zsh and changing the size of the tmux pane causes the the "rerun previous command" feature to print in an unreadable and garbled manner
I found an old debian issue that sounded like this, suggesting that lesspipe might be an issue, but I'm not sure how that applies. Thoughts?

/Strange question: Is that possible to display a widget defined in a previous instance of a notebook.
for example:
w = MyIntSlider()
display(w)
then I reload the same notebook, and just call display(w)
this display a message about comm in the JS console but doesnt display the widget.
is that a bug or a feature?

That's strange, it works in some cases, but not all.
ok so it seems that it doesnt works if the cell which created the widget is not saved or deleted before reloading.

@minrk: I'm trying to run dtsgen to generate a typescript file from the nbformat jsonschema
it comes up with an error: Error: id is not found.
Looking, it looks like jsonschema is looking for a URL to identify the schema: http://json-schema.org/latest/json-schema-core.html#anchor25

do you happen to know what the difference between $schema and id is?
eh, it looks like dtsgenerator also doesn't support oneOf/union types. I'll just write the typescript interface by hand for now.

while talking about type: when would be an appropriate time to talk about JSON-LD for the notebook?
