Hi, I was wondering .. can a js widget (rendered in a cell) have its own url ? (in the notebook domain .. say: http://my.server.ip:xxxx/notebook/widget/widget.url ) ? or is there a way to “export to string” all the html+js used to render the cell ?
i guess “output cell” should contain a sort of html5 code .. so should not be hard to parse the output of a specific cell and store the content in a html file

does it make sense ? i can see an use case for this, like:

%%publish_cell my_widget.html

And this will store the html under the server files

or eventually the user can move it to an apache directory (perhaps having a simlink to the js libs in nbextension)
