Hi all. Does anybody could explain me the meaning of this:
TRAIN_DATA = [
("Uber blew through $1 million a week", {'entities': [(0, 4, 'ORG')]}),
("Google rebrands its business apps", {'entities': [(0, 6, "ORG")]})]
What the tuples stands for? My guess is that, for thMar 14 02:34
@herlimenezes "0" is the start index and "4" is the end index for the entity "Uber" in that particular sentence.

Herli Menezes Mar 14 02:37
Excuse me @RishiSankineni 6 is the end index for the second? How is it indexed? Where can I read more about it?

Rishi Mar 14 02:38
Yes, the sub-string "Google" is indexed from 0-6(start and end)

Herli Menezes Mar 14 02:39
@RishiSankineni Ok, ok. Ty.

Has anyone gotten an error while using noun_chunks like:
chunks = list(doc.noun_chunks)
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
File "doc.pyx", line 501, in get
TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not callable
I can't seem to figure out the problem. I've tried in english and in other languages also using the example in the API documentation.

bxmn1789 Mar 14 03:15
Now i'm not getting an error in english, but I still get it in Spanish.

Just saw fix #2012. Sorry for spam

Hi. Is there a way to limit memory consumption? I run a small corpus (so I thought) but my poor MacBook is exploding (15GB ram at the moment, most all compressed)...

Michael Loster Mar 14 17:46
Hi I was wondering if there is a way to directly load a packaged spacy model (i.e. foo.tar.gz) instead of installing it?
