@jagan96 I ran this notebook whic runs an example with interactively defined inputobj. It fails without cloudpickle, but succeeds with it.

@minrk it worked fine if one attribute is there for the custom object.When i tried to add more attributes (related to tensorflow) and then append those objects to the list and send to the async function, I'm getting the following error
TypeError: can't pickle _thread.RLock objects

Ah, ok. Certainly not all objects are pickleable. Cloudpickle tries to expand that a lot, but it's not always possible. A real example of what you are trying to serialize is helpful.
What may turn out to be preferable is calling map with a simpler set of parameters, and constructing objects in the task functions.
