    Hi Kyle, course looks good, all online courses are teaching only the react based projects, any plan on VUE js ???
    Kyle Schaeffer
    @kyleschaeffer
    Hi, @nsksaisaravana! Thank you, I personally use Vue.js quite a lot and love it, but the course focuses on the React “flavor”. To be honest, I prefer Vue.js in most situations but I think React is better in SPFx purely because of the great Office UI Fabric library, which fits so well in Office 365.
    But that’s great feedback, perhaps in the future we can add another module that focuses on other front-end libraries.

    @nsksaisaravana
    Thanks, @kyleschaeffer for your prompt response, since we are angular developers we are struggling with react but vue is much better than the react. Please make some module on VUE ASAP.

    Good feedback. Thanks, @nsksaisaravana!

    course looks promising...any idea when pnp js module will be added ??
    Kyle Schaeffer
    @kyleschaeffer
    @nsksaisaravana, we use the built-in spHttpClient utility that’s available in all SharePoint Framework solutions to make web requests. You could easily substitute something like @pnp/sp to abstract the web services. We also go through the process of creating an abstraction of our own during the course.

    @kyleschaeffer When MSGraph module will be available ????
    Kyle Schaeffer
    @kyleschaeffer
    Hi, @nsksaisaravana. We don’t have a Graph module in this course. To be honest, we’ve been considering creating material for Graph, but I think there’s enough to learn there that it would be an entire new course.
    Good feedback, thank you!

    Really great course Kyle. Question: can you think of any reason that field customizers (even the very basic 'value:' one ) simply do not display. Again - great course.
    Kyle Schaeffer
    @kyleschaeffer
    @wwaltman, thanks for the feedback! You may want to double-check the URL of the pageUrl variable in the config/serve.json file (example here: https://github.com/ispfx/rating-field/blob/master/config/serve.json)
    It won’t show up during development unless you’re viewing a URL that matches this variable
    william.waltman@att.net
    @wwaltman
    Kyle: As nearly as I xcan tell, the config.server string is correct:
    {
    "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/core-build/serve.schema.json",
    "port": 4321,
    "https": true,
    "serveConfigurations": {
    "default": {
    "pageUrl": "https://netgecko.sharepoint.com/sites/test/Lists/Sales%20Leads/AllItems.aspx",
    "fieldCustomizers": {
    "Rating": {
    "id": "0e3cea0b-f6b2-4b6f-b707-2b74c61b1b1c",
    "properties": {
    "sampleText": "Value"
    }
    }
    }
    }
    }
    }
    The only things I did were:
    1 remove the second config pice
    william.waltman@att.net
    @wwaltman
    1. Substitute my site's URLfor the one created by the SharePoint Generator
    1. Substitute 'Rating' for the field name
    Thanks,
    Kyle Schaeffer

    @wwaltman, when you run gulp serve, do you get this “Load Debug Scripts” dialog?
    And did you click on the gray button in this dialog?
    That should definitely appear when you run gulp serve from the rating-field project directory

    Hey everyone! This is a spiritual successor, so to speak, of the course: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8C6qJRS4AE&t=95s
    I cover adding some open source controls from a very good community project to the web parts you’re building in the class. Feel free to check it out.

    I need sample CRUD using office UI fabric react
    Kyle Schaeffer
    @kyleschaeffer
    @Vedprakash19, we mostly work with READ operations in the course. I have, however, just published a series on SharePoint web services (covering the whole CRUD thing) out on YouTube, here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuUEhNt_aNQMKEw8w_-KV73gzQLqjP5PD

    @kyleschaeffer
    @/all The course has been updated with video lessons covering the latest updates in both SPFx 1.7 and 1.8. Check it out! https://sharepointfx.io/login

    I will try to create multiview ( https://youtu.be/94ra-ABMrRI ) for CRUD on user's option to select library and list in current site. Thanks a ton, @kyleschaeffer
