    You mean, didn't play well with Embark ?
    Igal Alkon
    @alkavan
    no, I have not tried it yet, I used truffle + zeppline contracts until now.
    oh and I use Ganache also, but I'm missing code wise "framework"

    If I have a set of smart contracts already deployed on kovan / mainnet , what’s the best way to configure / import them in embark in order to run them locally?
    Iuri Matias
    @iurimatias
    @sbberk you can configure an environment for them (for e.g named 'testnet') and configure the contract in that environment with its address

    @iurimatias Hi Iuri, could you update your demo embark React app with a Readme? Also it was a bit difficult to find seeing as the Vue/TSX demos are easy to find
    Iuri Matias
    @iurimatias
    @sharad-s what do you mean? the one in the embark repo? it's sort of internal to embark that's why it doesn't have a readme

    @Alifff

    hi, I am using Pragma and Metamask to create and deploy contract (using kovan testnet) but when I try to deploy my contract, it gives me error message like this : You need some ETH
    Looks like you don't have any ETH on Kovan.

    You can click here to get some.

    Get some ETH.

    I have 4 Eth in my account

    I'm getting a ton of gasLimit errors when trying to deploy contracts... anyone know the config flag to fix that (assuming in config/blockchains.js

    @sbberk
    Hey is anyone at ethdenver? I want to create a hack on Status, but would require private group chats. Is that at all feasible with Whisper?
    Iuri Matias
    @iurimatias
    Hi @sbberk , this channel has moved:
    For embark the correct channel is: https://gitter.im/embark-framework/Lobby
    For status (js) stuff the correct channel is: https://gitter.im/status-im/status-js

    @sbberk

    Hi @iurimatias
    you have created an issue on github (embark-framework/embark-nextjs-template#1) to develop next.js template for embark with 100 DAI bounty
    was this developed? or are there any plans to develop this?
    Iuri Matias
    @iurimatias
    @dfunk006_twitter in short, it was not because it’s not really necessary anymore, embark can should work fine with next.js fine by using the artifacts generated by embark, you can see here an example of an dapp project using this https://github.com/status-im/status-teller-network/blob/master/embark.json#L26 in this case create-react-app but same principles apply to next.js

    Ah snap I just figured it out thank you

    @Brianspha

    @iurimatias I have a bit of a problem so when I run my contract on my machine embark spits out this message

    change: contracts\UNICEFContract.sol
    Error while loading the content of contracts\MyContract.sol
    compiling solidity contracts...
    assuming IERC20 to be an interface
    deploying contracts
    Executing pre-deploy actions...
    Pre-deploy actions done. Deploying contracts

    But as soon as I run this on remix it works any ideas why this might be happening?

    Iuri Matias
    @iurimatias
    is there anything strange about the contracts/MyContract.sol file?
    or for e.g permissions in it are different
    Siphamandla brian Mjoli
    @Brianspha
