    Any idea how to repair things so I don’t get this error?
    Uncaught Error: Repository has been destroyed
    I’ve got a repo in the folder in question that is operation via command line and SourceTree…even tried cloning a new one.

    @jhopper28 Hey, someone else reported this issue some time ago aswell. Unfortunately I have never been able to replicate this error. Could you give me some directions on how to replicate it so that I can try and find a fix for it?
    and googles first search result is the issue on this repo :/

    hi all
    I get a permission error when trying to pull/push from/to a git repo
    I saw there is a bug #47 opened. Anyone knows how to fix this?
    Bricktop
    @MarcelMue
    Can you pull or push using your normal console @aramix ?
    Jeff Hopper
    @jhopper28
    @MarcelMue Trying to figure out how to reproduce…it just happens when I click on a local branch
    > git checkout develop
    Switched to branch ‘develop'
    Your branch is up-to-date with 'origin/develop'.
    > git status --porcelain --untracked-files=all
    > git fetch --prune
    fatal: could not read Password for '[url]’: Device not configured
    'git fetch --prune' exited with error code 128

    @aramix
    @MarcelMue no.. How can I define a key for a project in git-control?
    Bricktop
    @MarcelMue
    @aramix I am not sure what you mean with define a key for a project? Do you mean ssh key? If so check out https://help.github.com/articles/generating-ssh-keys/ this link
    @jhopper28 I don't have time to investigate right now, will do so tomorrow (hopefully)!
    We also managed to get 100 stars on atom.io :clap: :ok_hand:

    @nounoursheureux
    You should publish the development version, or it will break on June 1st: #79
    100 stars ! That's cool :clap:

    @MarcelMue
    @nounoursheureux I just saw Jaco pushed a new version. Unfortunately I have been very busy lately with uni and therefor slacked a bit on github / my other projects. I hope everything will be back to normal in the next week :/
    Alain Béarez
    @Alain-Bearez
    @MarcelMue, it seems that @aramix is in a situation similar to mine. I have several SSH keys, registered either with GitHub or BitBucket. What we would need is a way to let git-control know that a given project is using the key id_github, while another is using id_bitbucket, instead of the default id_rsa.
    Wilhem Barbier
    @nounoursheureux
    I don't think we have project-specific settings, do you know if it is available in the Atom API ?
    @MarcelMue do you think we should change the push.default behaviour? #80
    Bricktop
    @MarcelMue
    @nounoursheureux I am not sure with the whole upstream vs default thing. I would have to do some reading on it frist. If there isn't a big counter argument then I would say change it.
    @Alain-Bearez I guess id_rsais a git default? If so we would have to introduce some kind of options menu and I am not really sure how much work that would be as of right now.
    Bricktop
    @MarcelMue
    @nounoursheureux I posted an answer to #80 (closed it on accident once :grin: )
    Daniel Power
    @DanielPower
    Hey, I have my ssh key added to my Settings page on Github, but I'm getting 'fatal: could not read Username for 'http://github.com': No such device or address
    Any suggestions?
    I'm on Ubuntu 14.04
    Daniel Power
    @DanielPower
    Nevermind, I think I got it. I had to set the remote url to use SSH instead of HTTPS.
    Bricktop
    @MarcelMue
    okay :D
    I was about to say that testing it on your normal console would be the way to go to decide if it has something to do with git-control :)
    Daniel Power
    @DanielPower
    Hey, is there a way to have git-control store my password? Currently it asks me for the password when I open the git-control tab, it asks for the password again when doing a commit, and then asks for the password twice when doing a push.
    So I have to type my password 4 times just to update my project.
    Bricktop
    @MarcelMue
    Git-control itself doesn't store passwords or asks for them. Every command you enter in git control is forwarded to a console with git and the output is displayed in git control
    Eldar Shamukhamedov
    @eldarshamukhamedov
    Does git-control support multiple repositories?
    Bricktop
    @MarcelMue
    Gitcontrol only supports one repository at a time currently
    Eldar Shamukhamedov
    @eldarshamukhamedov
    @MarcelMue gotcha, thanks for the reply

    @ArnauAregall

    Hello, I just installed git-control to Atom 1.0.5.
    When I open git:control tab (ctrl+alt+o on OS X), on the git console log appears this:

    git status --porcelain --untracked-files=all
    git fetch --prune

    /bin/sh: git: command not found

    seems that git command is not "visible" for Atom or git-control, anyone could help please?
    Arnau Aregall
    @ArnauAregall
    ok, seems that is a problem with Atom on OS X. Tweaking my init script worked:

    Will Pracht
    @willpracht
    Maybe a stupid question... When toggling the Git Control panel, it opens the first project. Is there a way to switch it to another project I have open?
    Will Pracht
    @willpracht

    Sorry about that, just saw this:

    Gitcontrol only supports one repository at a time currently

    Tom
    @AmazingWizard
    So I just installed Git-Control and I went to push my repo upstream and I'm getting this error > Fatal: Could not read username for 'https://github.com': input/output error
    any ideas?
    Bricktop
    @MarcelMue
    @AmazingWizard On which OS are you? It's most likely related to your local user/password setup to push remotely to github
