@QueyeHaach sounds like your use case is well suited for JAMstack, so far. You would benefit from faster load times, better caching and (depending on your CDN provider) more local servers. By having an explicit build step, you might find it easier to pack, minify and compress your assets better (if you're not using something like webpack already).
You might want to go serverless from there: firebase can be used serverlessly by using Netlify Functions or other FaaS providers, so you'd have to adapt your code if you wanna go serverless. If you do not want, you can keep running your own API server for the database stuff via Firebase CLI, though.
Stackbit was released as the JAMstack conf. in London! here's an intro piece on it: https://snipcart.com/blog/stackbit

👋Hello folks! Just a little heads up.
Recently, we created a JAMstack community slack workspace. Initially it was created as the backchannel for the JAMstack Conferences, but it is also becoming a useful hub for more general community content and discussion.
Each JAMstack meetup group is able to create a channel there and it is quietly starting to gather more people after each conference and as more meetups get up and running.
We'll soon start directing people primarily to that destination to find the jamstack community, and link to that from the jamstack.org website.
Naturally, conversation happens where people are most comfortable, so there is no reason to abandon this destination right here. But I wanted to let you know about the slack, and hope you might find it a useful and friendly place to talk about all things JAMstack.
Invites are open via: https://jamstack.org/slack
Hope to see you there!
@NoobTaco - I built a little demo related to this which enables user comments in a static site. It triggers a rebuild after content is submitted (and approved).
It might be a useful reference.
Soft 404errors in Google Search Console that are generated by a bunch of pages that are basically blank until the page loads and is able to pull in content via API with a query string in the URL. Has anyone run into any issues regarding API-pulled content and search engine crawlers?

I would like to create a JAMstack app where users could log in/sign up so I would need authentication/dynamic pages. Those users will then have kinda like their admin/dashboard page where they can upload/read some information. Imagine it like when u create an account on Airbnb/Booking and then you upload info about your apartments. The other functionality would be to do a standard search via filters, just like you do on early mentioned apps and based on your search queries you get the appropriate results.
So, is the JAMstack with a hydration good fit or I should go with the standard SPA approach here? I guess it's since this is not a fully dynamic app and its contents will not be changing frequently, plus, I would like to use benefits of the JAMstack architecture.
If u agree with me and would go with the JAMstack what stack/workflow u recommend?
