    @jasonmit Started work on a stateful-helper branch. Saw you pick up the intl dependency. I could not get past intl not loading. Assuming the src needed to be changed.
    Do you happen to notice your ember test server recomputing about 3 or 4 times? Looks like it happens due to the locale-data being added?

    Hi @al3x-edge awesome. I was going to pick that up next to see if we can sneak it into 2.0. The Intl polyfill upgrade should be done tonight.. I just need to fix 3 failing tests.

    Awesome awesome. We still don't really have access to the container in the new view helpers right? Wondering if I can use the formatter proxies in the service now that we can inject those

    Yeah, I've noticed that but I don't believe that's the case when consumed as an addon so I haven't prioritized a fix for it yet.

    I'll see if I can dig up something.

    Correct, the only thing you will need is the intl service. So can use Ember.inject.service

    @jasonmit Might just be out of my league on those helper changes. Thought it might be somewhat small with some backwards compatible stuff, but it's more related to container lookups I think.

    is your PR far enough along where I can try to help out?
    Alexander
    @al3x-edge
    Might be =] Sometimes I feel more lost than I have ever been while inside ember-intl so I hope it's something to work form.

    @jasonmit -- Want to tag team the glimmer branch or want to just clean up a bit more?

    @jasonmit
    Hey @al3x-edge can you run over the readme and try and setup a new app using the docs only? This will help realize if we missed anything
    it's the last thing before i tag beta1

    Somehow in my application I can't get the year to output.. I've got my 'formats.js' setup (https://gist.github.com/timbaas/5fae56ff5c05d9fb9412) but no matter which format I apply it always renders as "XX month", without the year..

    hi guys, do you know where I can get some support for react-intl? :/
    actually you may be able to help me as well...we've implemented react-intl quite successfully for our app, now I'm just trying to figure out how to i18n for values that are coming directly out of npm modules
    spritzel
    @spritzel
    an example, using react-date-picker the values for the month names come straight from the module, how would I internationalize these?
