The old Gitter chat (before transferring django-analytical to the Jazzband) is still available at jcassee/django-analytical (for historical reasons). :+1:
Hi all, I would like to use the django analytic tool to track userstats for a django app. Could someone tell me if this is free to use. i.e. for getting the keys for CLICKY_SITE_ID = 'xxxxxxxx' CRAZY_EGG_ACCOUNT_NUMBER = 'xxxxxxxx'?. I am not sure how to get the keys for the same for free Thanks in advance!
I just now found out that clicky has a free tier which I can use but is it necessary to also use crazy egg or can i use any other supported services?
@sreekaanth These are proprietary services. You have to ask them, look at their documentation, forums or other support channels.
django-analytical has nothing to do with those services. It provides "just" a clean way of integrating them into your Django project.
Does analytical support google universal tracking? remarketing? I saw an open issue that's 7 years old... 😬
django-analytical v3.0.0 has just been released! :confetti_ball: :rocket:
Hi All - I am using the package. Its works fine on my local version. When I push to my production server I get an 502 error from Nginx. Commenting out the installed app stops the 502 so it is linked to the analytics package.
We probably can't support you here. This is certainly a setup issue of your Django project (likely one of your requirements have not been installed). Try to get it running with DEBUG=False on your local machine. Make your local environment match your production environment as close a possible (e.g. employ containerization).
