Do you have any instruction how to run or build your app?
main package.json file is empty, just {}
sysc4ll
@sysc4ll_gitlab
for dependencies : in theme/sysc4ll : npm install
for run hugo (with sass version) in the root folder: hugo server --theme sysc4ll --disableFastRender
Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
if you create a project for someone you should at least write README on how to run it. I don't have a crystal ball.
sysc4ll
@sysc4ll_gitlab
yes, ok, sorry and thanks
it's just for me, but i take your help
Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
and do I need to install hugo globally? What is the name of the package? hugo?
sysc4ll
@sysc4ll_gitlab

Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
It is a bug, I'm not sure why it's happening will need to investiage
Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
it may be a bug in the browser, that is caused by your display: flex !important on terminal object.
sysc4ll
@sysc4ll_gitlab
ok :) thank you very much.
in chrome it's the same
sysc4ll
@sysc4ll_gitlab

hi how can i change the prompt's color ?
as well as it's style ?
@jcubic :sweat_smile:
Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
@Kira272921 You can use Terminal formatting, or if you prefer XML syntax you can use xml_formatting file. Changinng prompt style works the same as for echo
Maybe I should add specific example for prompt into a wiki, because it may be not obvious that you can use the same things as for echo

It would it really helpful, if you add an example how to change the style and color for prompt in the wiki :heart:

@jcubic Is it possible to change the style and color of the command name and the it's args ?
I have this portfolio of mine, which is kinda terminal based themed (check the above image)
the styling of the command name and it's args aren't matching up with the one's in the interactive console page, if there is a way to change the style please do let me know

@jcubic
@Kira272921 You need custom formatter for this
something like this
$.terminal.new_formatter(function(string, position) {
    return string.replace(/(\s*\S+)(\s?.*)/, function(_, name, args) {
        return '[[;red;]' + name + '][[;blue;]' + args + ']';
    })
});
Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
replace red and blue with your colors
The position is needed when you change the length of the string, if you just wrap with formatting you don't ned to use it.
Kira

    return string.replace(/(\s*\S+)(\s?.*)/, function(_, name, args) {
        return '[[;red;]' + name + '][[;blue;]' + args + ']';
    })
});
Hey thanks!!
It is working like a charm
Except for this thing :(

Anyway to make the greeting text to white while have the custom formatter ?
Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
There is a way to disable that, give me a sec formaters have options to make it work only for commands
Kira
@Kira272921
Thanks!!
Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
I made mistake the position is an option
Kira
@Kira272921
The greeting is white by default when the till the second part of the command is given

I made mistake the position is an option

:confused: This didn't seem to solve it

Jakub T. Jankiewicz
@jcubic
$.terminal.new_formatter(function(string, options) {
   if (!options.command) {
      return string;
   }
   return string.replace(/(\s*\S+)(\s?.*)/, function(_, name, args) {
        return '[[;red;]' + name + '][[;blue;]' + args + ']';
    });
});
if you have this, the formatter will work only in command line
there are 3 flags: echo, prompt and command
