So much great stuff here, bit disappointed that everything is a in a single giant thread which is bit hard to follow for a new comer. Suggestion: Can you guys please migrate to a proper discussion platform? Would be really helpful. Thanks much.

it's been said before but the state and model terms are very confusing for people that aren't already familiar with their definition within SAM
which makes that diagram hard to understand

@jdubray That is of course a good idea for some of the content. But I am afraid SO is very strict about what is allowed there. For more generic discussions it may not be the best place.

Sebastian's presentation is very close to SAM (Model+State = expressive static types), purity not so important.
