i think vue became popular because it attracted the angular 1 crowd that were being left behind
because vue provides easy two-way bindings and you dont have to learn v=f(m)

i dislike vue, if that wasn't clear
well, 'dislike' is a bit strong. I prefer reactive UI

I have a friend who wants to try it because he comes from PHP background.. one of the creators of Laravel endorses it..

probably for limited things.. like most flashbang ideas I'm guessing
once it gets above to-do app I bet it gets real tricky...

for your basic crud app its fine, but yeah very few apps are this basic
