According to SAM pattern, state function receives the model to return a view by conditionally evaluating its properties, but what if I want to evaluate the current state of one model property with its previous value, should I pass the model and a copy of Its previous state? or should I store in the model if something was changed. For example, I could have and text input that when I write something It triggers and actions with Its new value, the model accepts and change the corresponding property and then the model is passed to the state but some expensive(hypothetically) view rendering have to be done only when the text changes but It can't know because It only knows about the current state of the model, what does have to be done in this case?
